I just want to say that Glen one of the Management team at Niketown has provided excellent customer service. I went to do an exchange for a pair I know it would never see the light of day. And there was a pair of Jordan sneakers that I wanted. When it comes to Jordan releases, I’m normally very picky when it comes to quality control, if I were to drop $240 for a pair the quality should be worth $240. When it's mass-produced sadly the quality is never up to par for any sneakers. We all know this lol I’m glad I ran into Glenn that morning. He was very patient with me asking him to run back and forth to find me the perfect pair to my satisfaction. I say this because if it was an ordinary employee they would have been annoyed with me at the 3 pairs of request if the quality was not to my satisfaction. But Glenn on the other hand was the complete opposite. He was very patient to show me multiple pairs and did it with a smile until I found the exact pair that I wanted and the quality was to my satisfaction. So if are like me and look at every nick and cranny when it comes to a sneaker look for Glenn and he will help you out to the fullest finding your perfect pair of Sneakers at Niketown in San Francisco. Because of Glenn I will 100% shop at Niketown on a Jordan release and look for him again. Thank you Glenn for your Excellent Customer...
Read moreRefused to take a return even though the shoes were only 4 months old. I was told to process a claim because I was too late. Made out as though it would be no problem. I get home and did a bit of research to discover that the claim will most likely get rejected: now I am stuck with trainers I won't be able to wear! $130 down the drain!!! Thank you Nike: I will be looking elsewhere to buy my walking shoes and just FYI, I buy two pairs from you every year so you have just lost a lifelong customer for good. Not only this but your sales person who sold these to me back in June never mentioned your 60 day try and return policy. Although, today when I was trying other shoes on, that person did. Train your sales people properly!!!! Not only this but when I was first trying to get my refund, I had one of their seemingly psycho employees staring straight at me with a death stare for a good 3-5 minutes. Clearly something pychologically wrong with that woman. Then when I bring it to their attention, they try to flip it on me saying I am being unreasonable.....! Again - train your staff properly. For those Gen Z employees, teach them how to treat customers like human beings. Beyond unacceptable to be bullied like that from a...
Read moreI went to the San Francisco store to buy multiple pairs of shoes and, to be frank, I basically had to drag the young woman in the Jordan section over to even try and help me (she was just standing back looking bored even when I looked over to signal for assistance). When I asked if the store sold a certain shoe, all she said was (pointing at a rack) - that's all we have and walked away. After finding alternatives I again had to go and find her (standing, looking off into space bored once again) to ask for sizing. Never offered any help, I felt like I was an imposition on her day when I asked for it. When I asked about a second pair (new Air Jordan golf shoes) she again looked put out and scoffed that they don't carry any then walked away.
This was the opposite of the service I received in the New York innovation store. The only time the young lady on level 5 looked interested was when I asked where to pay for the shoes. At this she hastily took credit card details and had me type in my email address for the receipt. If this is Nike's idea of service it's a wonder the store is still in business. And sadly I couldn't buy my Jordan low...
