See's Candies — Local services in San Francisco

The chocolate quality is always great here. The minus stars is for customer service. I did not feel as welcomed as before when I visited the store today. The tone and attitude of the associate when me asking the questions were not accommodating. As I was choosing the flavors, she would just keep talking to another coworker and not attentive to me. I just had to wait for a timing to speak before they continue the conversation. Coming from customer service background, client should be first priority and if it is something important, please ask client to excuse yourself to finish the conversation. And no, it was a chitchat topic. Adding on, they usually ask you what flavor would you like for the complementary chocolate piece sample. She just gave the one she wanted to me....the taste was oversweet...i took a bite and had to throw it away. The place used to be very lovely so it is just sad to experience this. Surprisingly, the next customers who are white were...

The employees are very friendly here. Despite being quite busy one of the employees actually went to over their current availability with me and offered opinions on what I could get for a friend's birthday. Did you know that See's offers seasonal chocolates? I did not know even after shopping at See's for over 10 years. I prefer shopping here much more than somewhere like Godiva because the packaging is cute, the chocolates look very homemade and traditional, and lastly they will give you tasty samples every time you stop by.

P.S I think See's is always a great gift whenever you need something for someone abroad because you can only really get this chocolate around the west coast minus a few...

I was upset that you had to purchase $10.00 worth of merchandise to get your parking ticket validated, but the chocolate covered pecan turtles were heavenly. I was threw the roof with the parking situation but this candy made me gain about 10 pounds. I was on the plane munching, at home munching and in my dreams munching.

The people at this location makes the experience unpleasant. There was one older lady that made it seem like she was doing me a favor by servicing me. I do not know if African American people frequent the locations there in San Fran but I felt some kind of way. All in all, the candy was great, she could have worn a KKK sheet, I did not care, that candy...
