Silk Nails Spa — Local services in San Francisco

This has to be one of the most positive nail salon experiences I've ever had. Amy did my gel mani and Van did my gel pedi. They were AMAZING! The work was so detailed, gentle, and they really took their time with everything. The hygiene and sanitation here are on point. Instead of having a tub with jets, they use bowls of lightly fragranced water which ensures that you're not getting another customer's feet germs contaminating your pedi. The service ended with a hot lotion massage which literally melted away all the tension and tightness in my hands and feet.

I will say their gel polish selection is quite limited since they're more known for their huge selection of designer nail polish. They have baskets on baskets full of Zoya, essie, Hermes (i had no idea hermes even made nail polish), and much more.

This is and always has been one of the best places in SF for mani/pedi and waxing services! Amid the pandemic the owner has taken extra steps for the health and safety of her clientele and staff with an air purification system, plexiglass dividers for each service station and an abundance of hand sanitizer and gloves available throughout. Signage is posted reminding clients to use hand sanitizer and/or gloves when choosing polishes as well as wash hands on arrival. I made an appointment. They were 20 minutes late. I sat in pedicure water that turned cold because they made me wait a long time. I made the appointment for quick manicure and pedicure. They charged me for a deluxe manicure and pedicure. I paid $30 more than I was expecting to pay. It was my first time so I didn't know the difference between the services.
