I'm am a UNITED STATES MARINE Veteran and when I needed the guidelines and guidance they were there for me all it took was walking in filling out an intake form exercising patience. And within that very first day I was headed in the right direction for the legal help I needed in obtaining my benefits. And when I had healed from an injury to my hand I was helped by a very caring and knowledgeable individual to help in-depth prepare my resumes/CV even helping me to tailor fit the resume for the jobs I was intending to apply for. I was able to get the job by myself with a handshake and then submit my resume as required. I have been helped by the services and staff here they are making a difference in the community. PS... After starting the first job within two weeks knowing there was no chance for advancement I sought another job and found it, in another two weeks. So within a month the individual would help me once again doing so with patience and an overall amazing job ( I'm editing/Adding ) I am now receiving my benefits and I have been seeking housing and I intend to return to part swords to plowshares to ask for assistance as the VA on numerous occasions throughout the holiday season has not only let me down if not even return the calls or falling forward on their appointments. I'm I'm thoroughly disgusted with the non efforts VA puts forth people collecting pensions not doing jobs. And if you think I'm just griping the VA sent me home on a 3-inch fracture insisting it wasn't broken told me I needed to walk I had to fight for crutches went to peninsula hospital and within minutes was pronounced the fracture 2 days later the VA called me and said oh we made a mistake need you to come in I said it's already cashed...

This place has basically helped to ruin my life. After an apartment fire and losing everything they messed up my paperwork for housing authority and apartment and today lost my ID so now I can't even apply at apartments. The sro they put me in is a closet and roach motel. I only today got a food box in 3 months. Apartment VA and this place seems to be collaborating. I'll be walking out this sro losing everything for a third time. I've been diagnosed with 2 immune disease and severe mental health issues and I haven't even got a case worker. Security deposit was used for a other month which is now screwed be cause I have no ID. No incomen No food and off meds. No idea what il do but probably won't make it long.
