I went here today (July 30th) as a walk-in for a manicure on my horrible beat up hands. I originally wanted the Mango Crush treatment, it sounded great, and with my hangnails and retched hands I felt this was the best way to go. I was a little disappointed that when I said "I need a manicure" no one bothered on upselling me. I then told the lady, "I need a full treatment" and again, no one bothered to confirm or ask me which treatment I wanted. I simply got a manicure. So why the 5 Stars? Well, I gotta admit, this was the best one I got so far. Most manicures I've had were from friends, and pushing cuticles, cutting hangnails, and filing has always hurt something fierce. None of that here! It actually felt quite nice and was completely painless. The cutting and filing I didn't understand at first, because I expected to see the nail cut and filed and shaped to the pink nail beds of my fingers, no, they are cut to the shape of my finger, giving what seems a slightly awkward appearance at first, I realize, "this is the best option for nails" since it provides a uniform look and gradually the nail bed will form to it as well. While the buffing left more scuff marks on my nails than I'd like (an easy fix with some buffing on my part and a nice clean clear nail treatment), the massage of my entire lower arm, wrist, fingers, and palm was a nice touch with some amazing tropical-coconut (pina colada maybe) smelling warm lotion! And for $15 for all this, I cant complain. My friends were shocked to hear, Id pay up to $50 for a manicure, but they didn't understand I want a FULL treatment and pampering, something they will only pay $20 for anyway. I ended up paying the regular manicure price and a 50% tip, and will definitely go back, but will make sure I speak up on what treatments I want done before I sit down. All in all, I will...
Read moreI walked in to get a mani pedi today so could finally stop biting my nails and Lynn, Thu, and Lisa were so wonderful and very knowledgeable. They saw that my nails were extremely short and my nailed small, but they still worked with me to figure out a good style. They were very efficient and quickly sat me down, gave me a warm neck compress and hot tea since it was cold and raining. Lisa's work on my manicure was fantastic. I got dip done for my hands and a regular cleanup and polish for my feet. Lisa worked on my hands and Thu did my feet. Both gave a really nice warm massage and checked consistenly if i liked the work and if i needd anything. Lisa put in extra effort to make the connection between the nail extension and my nailbed last longer and the nails came out thin, clean, gorgeous. Overall, very natural looking! It was clear they were well trained professionals. Highly recommend getting dip here especially if you have short nails. Will update the review later with how long the nails lasted!
Update: the nails lasted 3 weeks even with me ripping at them!! I came back with the goal to grow my natural nails out and got a basic manicure with wonderful...
Read moreVERY INEXPERIENCED NAIL TECHS! do not waste your time or money here. i paid nearly $200 for hands and feet only to be left dissatisfied. i made the nail tech aware of my concerns and she did nothing to improve. I had to coach them on how my nails and feet were supposed to look which was ridiculous if you’re the experienced professional. i was not the only one giving feedback on how something was not filed correctly or something weird about the color coat. literally 3 other people who i didn’t know were saying the same thing to their nail techs in the chairs beside me. i recall having a conversation with 2 of them outside later who confirmed their dissatisfaction. how do you offer a “deluxe” package and leave the bottom of a costumers feet rough? i’m told the “deluxe” does not include the foot scrub to remove any dead skin, it’s an added charge, okay but if you saw that it needed to be done why not suggest it to me? i will not...
