I am so thankful we found Rebecca Overmann and her team. They were kind, patient, and immensely helpful as we embarked on a custom engagement ring.

At first, we had one design kind of set as what we wanted, we sent photos to Rebecca and Lauren of what we were after, and they soon after sent MANY options of loose gems that we could potentially use. Even this process was just easy and kind, we had not yet paid a deposit, and we were already getting such good care and attention.

After that, we decided to fly up to San Francisco so we could see these gems in person. When we arrived, Lauren already had a tray ready for us and our stones. After looking closely in person we realized they were not exactly what we were looking for, and we also came to realize that our original ring concept would be a bit difficult to source.

After going back to our hotel, scouring the Internet for more ideas and inspiration, we ended up shifting our ring design from two stones to one stone, and decided to squeeze in a Sunday morning appointment before flying back to Los Angeles. Before our appointment we emailed our new direction to the team, and by the time we arrived for our appointment, they had already pulled some comparable options! It was incredible. Then, with Lauren, we looked at a number of diamonds and rings in the store and talked through the cut, clarity, size, everything, to understand what we like, and why, so that she could then go ahead and find the right stone for us.

That’s when we paid a deposit, once we were all on the same page about what we wanted, what was possible, what the price range would be, and after we had established a bit of trust in a working relationship. Other places sometimes require a deposit (non refundable!) before you even get a guarantee they will be able to meet your needs!

Just days after we flew home, Rebecca and Lauren had found the perfect stone!!! They sent us videos in different lights. Because we had talked through everything beforehand, because they understood what we liked and why, we were able to commit to the stone without flying up again and seeing it in person. We were all on the same page.

Then we got into the setting, and went back-and-forth a couple times on the final design. We just got the ring two weeks ago and could not be more in love. This team made this experience, which is supposed to be once in a lifetime and beautiful and loving, they made it perfect. We are...

Rebecca Overmann and her staff (especially Lauren!) are better than I could have ever expected. They made us feel comfortable and confident while making such a significant and life changing purchase. From the moment I walked in they treated me with kindness and respect, after going in about 5 different stores with varying welcomes, it was so encouraging.

We designed our ring with Rebecca and Lauren, and their communication, professionalism, and help was amazing. Lauren even answered questions about where the diamonds come from and gave wonderfully detailed scientific answers to all our questions. She is incredibly knowledgeable. Lauren and Rebecca also encouraged us through each design decision until we were fully happy with the CAD and it was perfectly accurate. We also never felt pressured to spend more or do anything we weren't comfortable with. They both worked to be sure we got exactly what we wanted.

Then as we came back to the store, picking up the ring was wonderful! It genuinely could not be a better combination of our personalities. It's more perfect than I could imagine. We both can't stop starring at it. And it combines our favorite details from Rebeccas designs throughout the store, which is just a gorgeous atmosphere.

Everything about the experience with Rebecca Overmann was optimal. I cannot imagine recommending anyone else and we will absolutely be coming back for...

Rebecca, Doug, Lauren and Catherine are incredible and we would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a custom engagement ring (and jewelry / engagement rings generally)! They were incredibly patient and helpful when going through the design experience. We did a fully customized ring where they sourced a sapphire based on our color, size, shape, and price preference and designed a new setting based on a couple rings we had seen online. The ring turned out more beautiful than we could’ve hoped - they are true experts in every way! In addition to the ring turning out beautifully, they were also amazing partners in the process. We experienced an issue with shipping the ring (entirely the shipping carrier’s fault) and the RO team helped my partner track it down by calling the carrier persistently, updating him every 12 hours, and working their magic to get it the day before my partner planned to propose. They made a stressful time for him much easier and that really shows they not only care about the design and execution of the ring, but also about the couple’s experience.
