HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Had a BOMB waiting to explode in my face, and they WOULDN'T help me! Came in to buy an E-Vape, vaped all the way home just fine. The next day I felt something extremely hot in my pocket, the E-Vape was heating up by itself!! Even after I turned it off IT STILL WAS HEATING UP! I just got out of the hospital for having an open heart surgery, it's hard for me to get out of the house at all, but I definitely want another one because I know that sometimes mass produced products have 1 bad egg here and there. So, a day later, when I FINALLY was in a low enough amount of pain to leave the house I went to Underground smoke shop in an attempt to get a replacement for this ridiculously dangerous item. When I explained my dilemma THEY WOULD NOT HELP NE AT ALL! Instead of helping me they actually decided to tell me over and over and over why they are not going to help me. And it's the simple fact that I DIDNT GET THERE THE SAME DAY?! How are you going to expect a handicapped person to easily come back across town to get another one the same day when I purchased it near the end of the day and also...oh yeah, ITS ALREADY EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF BED ON MOST DAYS! And why do you need to repeat yourself 100 different times when I opened my mouth just ONCE! Talk about beating a dead and freshly handicapped horse! It is obvious on the puff counter on the E-Vape that I barely used it. It is obvious that I have a problem that was out of my control that they completely undermined and shoved aside as if it was my fault. Well, it's also obvious that this shop cares more about filling their pockets than to help someone in need...I guess it should be obvious with the outrageous prices they charge on every item in their store. SHAME ON YOU for disrespecting me. SHAME ON YOU for treating me like I'm stupid for not coming back the same day when it was nearly impossible for me. And SHAME ON YOU FOR TREATING A HANDICAPPED PERSON LIKE YOU TREATED ME!

So if anyone wants to waste their money and get treated like a lower class citizen, shop at Underground Smoke Shop. But if you care about your own sanity and well being...well, there are TONS of smoke shops who would be eager to get your business literally a block away. And at least they would actually treat you with respect knowing that YOU are the customer, and YOU deserve...

This is one of my favorite smoke shops in the Bay Area! They have good service, great hours, and a decent selection of bongs and accessories for a decent price. They are not the largest smoke shop compared to others, but they still have most everything and they don’t have ridiculous prices! They also have a courteous and knowledgeable staff that can help you find exactly what you are looking for. Another perk about this place is that it is open a lot later than most other smoke shops (I think most smoke shops close anywhere from 8-11 pm, and are rarely open passed midnight, whereas this one is open until I believe 1 or 2 am! Like I said they are also much more reasonably priced than many other smoke shops! All of this makes them the best...

I live across the street, so you would think they would keep customers like ME happy. Wrong. I went in to buy a replacement part for my Pax vape, and they sold me one. But they sold me the WRONG one. When I discovered this, not 15 minutes later, I went back to exchange it for the proper piece. Nope. The employee said they had to wait for the owner to return before they would exchange it. That was five plus days ago. They will not exchange the part and insist I buy another. That's bad business. Avoid this place.
