Souvenirs O'clock — Local services in San Juan

Very rude owners. Terrible customer service. The male worker commented on my friend’s weight while looking at a t-shirt. He got very upset and confrontational while she was comparing sizes and appeared bothered by her simply looking at the shirts. She was NOT trying them on, but was simply holding the shirts up to compare. I believe he ASSUMED that we were not going to put the t-shirts back while comparing them which we would have never done and did not do (my friend put the shirts back herself). I also asked if I could purchase a tshirt on a mannequin in which the man stood up and shook his finger in my face with a no. It was not the no that was upsetting but him putting his finger in my face. A simple “no” would have done. After this interaction, we walked out. Very poor and rude character from that man. He should consider that customers are simply trying to compare different items as we are wanting to make sure our money is well spent. Did not buy anything here due to this behavior. They lost 2 sales. I wanted to buy a shirt and was comparing sizes. I placed one down while I held the other against my body(did not try them on) and the male worked walked up pointed and the shirt, shook his head and started putting it back…I told him I was buying one, just wanted to compare the sizes since they are in Male sizing, he then looked at me made a comment about my weight rudely. He was upset that I was comparing the shirts??? How does he expect me to buy one? My friend also wanted to buy one and they had her size in the mannequin so she went to ask if she could get that one but he rudely shook his hand in her face instead of simply just saying no. Very nice stocked acquainted store. Lots of memorable souvenirs for family and friends. The staff is wonderful, friendly, informative and polite. I'm a Benito fan (Bad Bunny) therefore I was to purchase some items for my collection. Just missing Concho plush, awaiting to be in stock to order it and have it delivered. Not last to say the owner of this shop (Hasam) is just the Best very down to Earth. I was very impressed and felt like he's one of my own family. Don't matter if you just want to stop by for some window shopping I truly believe you'll feel like purchasing something or just chat because you'll feel like this is home shopping.
