“I had been to Sandy Rehab before, but my experience was quite different. The addition of Brian Terry, as Director and DPT, has made a monumental impact on the Outpatient clinic. It is now a very welcoming and tranquil setting- primarily due to his recent remodel of the whole clinic.
The therapy itself has also dramatically improved. I have had therapy several other times, but this time was different. In prior PT settings, I felt like a number. I would see the Physical Therapist for the evaluation, and then be handed off to other assistants and aids, spending a lot of time by myself in a room waiting for timers to go off. It was not personalized and I found myself highly unmotivated to do exercises at home and follow up on what I had been doing; however, Brian is well spoken, well educated, charismatic, and has an ability to give everyone his full attention. I was impressed that he got in the water with me and really spent some time showing me the exercises. He pays close attention to form and makes sure you are getting the most out of each exercise. He pushes some, listens and modifies exercises based on what patients need, and truly cares about everyone he treats with a unique and creative approach.
I cannot say enough about the impact Sandy Outpatient, the pool, and Brian Terry have had on my life. I have lost 100 pounds so far and have gained a healthier lifestyle, and feel so much better. The differences in my original injury, past injuries, psyche, self confidence, and fitness level are immeasurable. I have less stress and am able to perform at a higher level in all aspects of my life. Try the pool! You won’t regret it.” ~...
Read moreIn 2023, after experiencing some challenging health issues, my son, John, discovered Sandy Physical Therapy And Aquatics and suggested we check it out. We made an appointment for a free evaluation and met with Brian Terry, the Director of the facility. We quickly learned the center offered far more than treatments and exercise; it's an experience tailored to each individual using physical therapy combined with unique techniques in a soothing 95-degree warm pool. I was thrilled to discover they even had a water wheelchair and a ramp into the pool, allowing anyone access.
I'm thankful that Brain and his caring professional coaches who are amazing people dedicated to providing hope, encouragement and creative therapy services in this comfortable, healing environment. I must admit that the first time in the warm pool was a bit of heaven as i felt my body relaxed and move with greater fluidity and comfort.
Since then, I have consistently gone twice a week and worked with several of their coaches and therapists. Each has offered unique and wonderful insights along with the latest techniques to enrich the lives of each client assisting each one in achieving greater health and well-being.
Gratefully, I've made some good progress, and I'm looking forward to new horizons of healthier living as I continue working with my amazing PT, Raquel.

Read moreI have had the pleasure of doing my physical therapy at this facility since October 2015. I had a lumbar disc decompression and subsequent 3 level fusion. It was a very painful and difficult procedure. Upon visiting Sandy Physical Therapy, I could see how this discipline of physical therapy would be perfect for my recovery. The constant water temperature, in itself is soothing, but the therapy that occurs insures less stress on joints and on muscular and skeletal disabilities. This facility has an environment that is conducive for a more holistic approach to healing. When the body is good, the mind is better and your overall well being is better. I am a young senior at 69 and my mobility is important to me. I use this facility even when the physical therapy has stopped. I have tools to keep me moving with less pain. Brian and Jessica and all the teachers who conduct classes, thank you for your passion and dedication to...
