I stopped at Starbucks to grab a coffee and some food. I was heading out of town and usually stop at Dutch bros simply because the employees are always happy, they are sincere and one time I stopped and had forgotten my wallet, they GAVE me the items I ordered. It's understand that's their policy! Anyway, I thought I'd give Starbucks a try, hadn't been there in a while. When I got to the window to pay, handed the girl a hundred dollar bill, she hands it back and says "we can't take that". Apologizing I told her that's all I had. She came back with "you've got to have a card?!" No, I don't have a cardI told her. She said well, we can't take that. I asked her what are you goi g to do with my drink and good, she said "throw it away". I said we'll if you're goi g to trash ot can I have it, I'll get change and come back later to pay. Nope was her reply. I then asked for her manager. "Managers in a meeting". So I asked again, so can I get the items, I've got cash....Nope again. So, needless to say, I drove up the street, out of my way to go to Dutch bros. They took my hundred, smiled, engaged with happiness. I'll NEVER go back to Starbucks. Now I see why Duth bros has lines all the time.....it's worth the wait....

But their was just something about this particular location that rubbed me the wrong way I can't say for sure n am probably bias but this location was Stuffy or snooty, snooby, uptight. That's the best way I can describe my experience n what the atmosphere was like during my short visit. The staff was friendly and good to fix the order they messed up without any fuss. No it was the customers or patrons that went their that put off the jerky vibes I mentioned above. Read moreI think it’s rare that I rate a Starbucks pretty low. I don’t really go to this location just because my order is always wrong over there. I feel like my order is simple, like just a venti frap (flavor differs based on season) with no whip cream. Pretty much every trip I take to this location, I have to go in and have them fix my order (usually because I don’t want to hold up the line in the drive through). I normally like to give the benefit of the doubt and don't try to get overly upset, but I just can't not address it. Usually the whip cream doesn’t decrease the amount of drink I get -- like a 1/4th of it was just missing from my cup. And I have to grab napkins since there is always drink on the side of my cup that isn’t really cleaned up.
