I donāt like leaving negative reviews. I donāt do it very often. This is one of my favorite stores and I found several things I was excited to purchase today. If it hadnāt been for the fact I really wanted to get these items, I wouldāve walked away from the register. I witnessed Trisha W. treat a different customer with disrespect before I was the next one she served. She was insistent that the product I was purchasing was not the price it was tagged, and upon checking it, she announced with frustration, āwell youāre getting it for [the verified price on the tag] today.ā She then proceeded to stack my china with so much aggression I thought it would crack. While all this was happening, she was barking orders at and insulting other employees. Maybe she is a manager? It was embarrassing to witness. I know I can get these products at At Home, and their location is just as close. This is not the first time Iāve had weird customer service here, but itās getting more uncomfortable to come here. Iām definitely not about getting people fired, but honestly, I am the easiest customer on the planet to please. Iām not asking for any extra privileges or special consideration! All I ask is that you donāt break the products I am paying you for, and maybe donāt cuss somebody else out while Iām giving you money! (HomeGoods, this location could use a little TLC with the customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAssociate only put 3 of my 5 my items in my bag, when I got home and realized this I called the store and was told thereās nothing they can do and that they put my purchased items back on the floor to resale. The manager suggested I come back to the store and find my purchased items myself since she has no way of knowing what I bought. I have the receipt and the item numbers but she couldnāt be bothered. I live an hour away but drove back to sandy to find my purchased items. Once I got there I couldnāt find any of the items I had purchased and I was treated dismissive and rudely. I suspect the employee that rang me up or another employee kept my purchased items. These employees couldnāt have cared less.
After leaving empty handed I decided to return to the store and get the information for the area manger or someone above the Sandy Mall store manager. Magically they suddenly found my missing items. They were all bagged up and not on the floor. I donāt think this is a coincidence. Shame on this employee and manager for being so dishonest. I know itās a busy time of year but HomeGoods needs to better train their employees and focus on ethics and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked in 6 min before closing to look for one very specific thing- a kids water bottle. I was greeted with āWelcome, we close in 6 minutes.ā Ok- kind of aggressive but I understand. Spent the next 6 minutes hunting through an overcrowded, unbelievably messy store. Just as the woman on the PA finished the āclosing announcementā I found the water bottles- finally- and began searching. At 9:30 EXACTLY a woman appeared beside me along and told me āHi, just so you know itās 9:30 weāre closed.ā I began to ask if these were all their water bottles and she interrupted me again, āIām sorry weāre closed.ā and stood by me until I felt sooo uncomfortable. I said āWow, you guys are REALLY aggressive about getting people out of the store.ā Her response? āYeeeeahhhhhā¦.ā
Maybe next time we ask the customer if they need help finding anything. Trust me- I donāt want to be in Homegoods at 9:30 at night either. And itās not easy to find things in a store thatās messier than any other homegoods Iāve been to.
Naturally there were 6-8 workers chatting at the front of the store. Cool. So rude. Wonāt be back. This store is always in a state of...
