I stopped in a week ago with my mom while she was here on vacation. We each got a beautiful piece of jewelry. I’m so sorry I don’t remember the woman’s name who helped us, I assume the owner. She was the best! She helped us each pick out our jewelry, asking questions i never would have thought of! Since my mom had mentioned she was on vacation, this wonderful lady pulled out a map of the island and marked some restaurants. She really could be the Sanibel ambassador! (And she let me play with her dogs so…). It really was just a great experience and I’m so glad we stopped in. I would recommend this...

They have very nice jewelry in this store. However, their sales person is pushy & rude. I distinctly told my teenage daughter NO to a pair of earrings that were pricey. He took it upon himself to add them to my bill. I didn't say anything not to embarrass my daughter in front of her friend. How dare he undermine my authority in front of my child with his condescending demeanor. It was very disrespectful & disappointing!! However, the owner Rachel had me contact her and we discussed the situation. She made appropriate adjustments that made me happy. I was impressed that an owner really cared....

I love Shiny Objects!! Marcos and Rachel are always very helpful! Every time we go to Sanibel I have to stop and see what jewelry they have new. Marcos has made several recommendations based on my previous purchases and he is seldom wrong. They both always make us feel welcome and even give us recommendations on local restaurants. They are very knowledgeable about the island and events going on in the community. I very highly recommend Marcos, Rachel, and Shiny Objects!!
