I had a really upsetting experience with Ammy. I got my nails done on Tuesday, and by Thursday, not only did the polish start peeling, but one of my fingers became infected. The manicure was sloppy and looked like it was done in a rush uneven nail shapes, messy finish, and no proper cuticle or prep work. I even asked for stronger products to prevent breakage, but clearly, that wasn’t done.
I reached out to her with photos and tried to politely explain how disappointed I was, but her response was dismissive and unhelpful. She kept insisting I come back, but I didn’t feel comfortable returning after such poor service and an infection. She also refused to offer a refund.
On top of that, I arrived early for my appointment, but she didn’t start until 30 minutes late, and even then, everything felt rushed. She claimed she worked on my nails for over an hour, but the results say otherwise. You can clearly see in the photos how bad they looked after just three days like a grown-out manicure from weeks ago.
My mom and sister had also been there before and were not happy with their results either. They both mentioned how uncomfortable it was that the staff kept talking in their own language during the appointment, making them feel excluded or even talked about.
If the infection in my finger gets worse, I’ll have no choice but to file a formal complaint, because this level of hygiene and customer care is unacceptable.
I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. Unprofessional, poor quality, and no...
Read moreI went in to get my nails redone—I had dip powder on my nails. As someone who used to be a nail tech, I know a thing or two about dip powder application, especially when working with fake nails.
I initially thought I was going to get a full new set, not just a dip overlay. However, the technician simply removed the polish and dipped my existing nails into the powder. The end result looked nice—I can’t complain about the appearance or finish.
That said, from a professional standpoint, I have a concern. I was surprised to see the technician dip my nails directly into the salon’s powder container. In my experience and training, that’s a sanitation red flag. Once nails have been worn and exposed, bacteria can easily transfer into the dip powder, which could potentially contaminate the container for future use. Proper practice is to pour out the powder into a disposable container instead.
On top of that, I was charged the same price as a full new set—which I found pretty unreasonable, considering the old nails weren’t removed and no new tips were applied. I expected more for what I paid.
So while the final look was decent, I have concerns about both their hygiene practices and pricing transparency. I’d recommend thinking twice before booking here, especially if sanitation and value...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed . This is my 2nd time coming in, I found this place via Google. First time excellent customer service. This time However, I’m really disappointed. I so excitedly expressed I wanted a pink natural base with French tip. Inside the salon with the lighting it looked a certain way. No more than 5 mins passed I called from inside my car , expressed that the color outdoors looks like a milky nude nothing like the color swatch I was shown. I immediately called if they can please change the color since I wasn’t satisfied the color looked nothing like what I hoped nor wanted. I paid $60 not including tip for a fill (no problem). However, the young gentleman (front receptionist) didn’t make an exception and said if I wanted a different color It would be an additional $20 , even if I had just left the salon & politely told them I wasn’t satisfied & the color swatch didn’t match my nail base. He gave no other alternative just simply said $20. I will no longer be coming here if this is the accommodation they give to their...
