I've nothing but gratitude and kudos for Eidos and its owners Gordon and Deborah. It's been nearly two years, but we purchased both of our wedding bands from here. Gordon and Deborah have an impeccable eye for style and quality, alongside ethical practice, and you can find so many creative, modern, and beautiful pieces in their shop. They are also a complete pleasure to work with. My husband had a few customizations made to his tantalum band (which is also a beautiful metal and so great Eidos carries it!) and Gordon helped guide us at each step of the process with clarity, responsiveness, and thoroughness. He also used recycled gold to make a wedding band for me that complemented my existing engagement ring perfectly. Came in to support a local goldsmith and have my engagement ring resized. Left without a resizing and insults about my diamond.

From the beginning of my interaction with the owner Gordon, he was mind-bogglingly patronizing. He began by insisting that I didn’t need to size up, despite that I’ve been a fine jewelry collector for years and know my ring size and what’s comfortable for me. Then he proceeded to comment on my diamond and claim derisively that “it’s so shallow they didn’t know what to do with it” while mansplaining portrait v brilliant cut diamonds.
