The Sweet Spot Bodega is a fantastic addition to downtown Santa Rosa, and I was really excited when it opened. The location is ideal, and they offer a unique selection of products—from snacks and essentials to alcohol, energy drinks, and food. The store is brand new, well-organized, and has a bright future ahead.

That said, after visiting multiple times, I have to say the pricing is definitely on the expensive side. Energy drinks, for example, are $4 each, which is the highest I've seen anywhere in Santa Rosa. There are no bundle discounts, so if you regularly buy multiples, it makes more sense to order in bulk online rather than make a trip here.

Their lunchtime food offerings are also pretty limited. A deli would be a fantastic addition, but given the current pricing of their other items, I imagine it would be one of the most expensive sandwiches downtown.

Overall, The Sweet Spot Bodega has a lot going for it—great selection, prime location, and a fresh new space. But price will likely be their biggest challenge, especially with downtown already having some pricey options. Hopefully, they consider some competitive pricing or bulk discounts to make it a more viable go-to spot.

It is well know that I like to dance in public I’m having a very nice time in Santa Rosa, getting to know the police, local gang members and just around cool people like the owner of the sweet spot. I typically burn about 5000 cal a day as I dance for hours. I did not take enough snacks with me on today’s mission so I found myself in this very sweet spot. They let me popcorn off the table. I talked a bit with the owner about his plans, and I hope to be able to help them with promotions in the future. This place is amazing! This is easily the best corner store selection in Northern California. They have everything from spicy chips to exotic snacks. They sell great local craft beers and are incredibly friendly. They have fresh produce and really good fresh salads.
