I was on a mission to find the recliner that will grab my butt n pull me down into the cushion, lay me back, and I can just sink into the world of soft! Like itās wrapping its arms around me and hugging me gentlyā¦.see I have a few health issues and in the pastā¦probably a good year + Iāve been in pain 24/7! My current one, chair, has none of that anymoreā¦he did his job but heās almost 10 years old! I only weigh like 115 tops! I have worn a hole in the right side so bad you can see the frame! The foot rest is fabric on wood! ššš»oy vey!! So you can see how much time I spend in it! So when I went to two stores before this mainly bc I Didnāt know it was there. The first store is very commercial n fakeā¦šThey donāt have anything.. Now The store before we went into your lovely place is too stuffyš¤ for me. Iām from Kansas dang it! š¤ I could barely breathe in there! Itās for people that care more about their status than their kids that are going to wind up in jail soon. I turned right around and walked out and I said, ā$2000 and UP for a recliner that isnāt even comfortable!?!ā My husband says, ādid you hear her heels squeaking as she walked?ā š āThat wasnāt her heels! Sheās just that up-tightā So my husband took me to your store tonight in Schaumburg IL and bought me a beautiful ācomfortableā recliner. I canāt wait to sleep on it! So, this lady greeted us and I told her exactly what I was looking for to please point me in the right direction. (Iāll know just by looking at it if itās what I want. lol ) So the first two chairs are the two chairs that I had to choose from and the softest one won! I got a great deal and today is Sunday itāll be here Tuesday! What more could I ask for!? (Nothing for a good year maybe more. Donāt want to push itš¤«) But seriously thank you to the lady ROZY GOMEZ! Because of her Itās coming up in two days and Iām so excited and I love your store and I recommend anybody to go there! All the staff is very friendly as well. But what I REALLY liked was the fact she was hanging in the background and giving us our space which is a good thing bc I didnāt have to get lost looking for her in that ginormous store! lol she was probably outta breath trying to keep up with my ADHD 59 year old lady with hyperactivity butt! Poor thingā¦Lol good luck with that! I lose ppl along the wayā¦š¤·š¼āāļøsorry this boat doesnāt turn on a dang dime ya...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot happy with the 15% restocking fee. The salesman never mentioned this even though we asked because we were unsure of the color as they only showed us a picture online. He assured us if there was any issues we had a few days to call and send them back. He keep saying that over and over again like 5 or 6 times but never once mentioned the restocking fee. Knowing we were purchasing 8 chairs you would think he would mentioned that so we would be aware of the cost. I hope corporate can see his deceptive practices. We received the chairs and they were not grey they were in fact brown after he assured us they were absolutely GREY even showing us a picture of a grey chair. Had we known there was a restocking fee we would have thought about it and waited until they had the color available to see in store. Clearly this salesman doesn't know what he is doing. He even made us fill out our own paperwork for the sale on his computer. Another sales man even walked by and said "WOW I have never seen that before." If the salesman is willing to break policy by having the customers do his job then he clearly is with the return policy as well by withholding important information. You might say that you disclose that 15% restocking fee in your 2 inch by 4 inch screen that I had to sign but I'm fairly sure that screen was skipped over. Id like to see the surveillance footage on that. The manager wants no responsibility with it and it's out of his hands according to him. There is nothing he could do. We had intentions of buying more furniture for our remodel but that will never happen again. We will be sure to tell...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I could give this a -1,000. We purchased a couch 7 months ago, which has been used by two adults. The fabric in that time had completely fallen apart to the point it looks like we garbage picked it. To make it worse, Iāve tried to contact someone in customer service over five times and was left with no response. Today we went into the Schaumburg store and was told my the manager/customer service guy that they donāt stand by it because āpillingā is not a defect. As you can see in the photos-this is well beyond pilling. I called corporate and the girl that answered was not even willing to ask my name so she could look up the pictures to see how bad. I asked to speak to the one that makes the decision and she told me, ā the decision has been made and I wonāt escalate this by sending you the person in charge. Iāve never been treated in this manner or made to feel I did something wrong. I want to let the public know to avoid shopping at Steinhafels no matter what location. There is no help once...
