I contacted the store a day prior to confirm an exchange for a dress I purchased a few weeks ago. During the call, I provided the store location where I intended to make the exchange. Over the phone, I was informed that the store would receive my information via email prior to my arrival to expedite the process.
Upon arrival at the store, I was greeted by an associate whose demeanor was unexpectedly aggressive. Despite presenting the message exchange between Windsor and myself to the cashier, this individual interjected aggressively, stating that she could not finalize the return. This caught me off guard, as I had not been conversing with her initially, nor was she a manager.
I requested they locate the email and handed over my phone to review the messages. Despite providing evidence that the dress was purchased in person, with a card transaction and intact tags, the associate persisted in making the process difficult and spoke harshly to me. I had hoped for a calmer resolution, as my intention was simply to facilitate a smooth exchange. However, I was dismayed by the lack of courtesy and understanding shown towards a customer who may have been misinformed either by the staff or the individual I spoke with over the phone.
Moving forward, I suggest fostering a friendlier atmosphere among the staff. While I regret that I will no longer patronize this establishment, I believe it would benefit future patrons if the staff were to communicate with kindness and understanding. Kindness always leaves a...
Read moreI've been shopping here for years. I can usually find a cute outfit to go out in. However, I am never shopping here again after today. I was looking for a dress to wear for Christmas. I found one, but it was a little short. I asked a sales associate for help, and they let me know it was the last one available. I asked my cashier SERVERAL times if I would be able to return the dress if I could find something that fit better. She assured me that I would be able to return it. I bought the dress 12/11. Today, on 12/30, I went to this same store to return it. Unfortunately, my cashier this time was the store manager. She told me it looked like I reattached the tag to the dress because her stylists would never sell this dress without remaking the tag. I told her that the cashier assured me I could return it. She told me she would take it, but very rudely told me she would leave a note in my account. She then proceeded to tell me the dress looked like it had been washed and retagged. The dress was velvet and had been laid out, untouched, in my room for the whole time I had it.
With a store manager that rude, I can see why people complain in the reviews about disrespectful employees.
Save your time, don't wait in the lines, don't shop here.
Update: I did reach out to customer service, and they were apologetic about the interaction. I would still stand by choosing a location other than Woodfield to complete your...
Read moreHad to wait an hour to get in, another hour for the dressing room and a sales associate was yelling at me when I was trying to help my daughter hang up the dresses to try on. I tried to explain I was her mother and she yelled "Only 1 person per fitting room!!" Then after my daughter's friend tried on a dress that she didn't like, the deal was my daughter would then try out on. The same sales associate YELLED at me and told me my daughter had to get back in line!! If it wasn't for my daughter needing a dress I would have thrown all my dresses at this lady! (I didn't buy a dress!)
The girl next to me was trying on a dress and her mom tried to give her a different size and the same associate yelled at her that her daughter had to get back in line! I told the mother to just give her daughter the dress! It was ridiculous,! 1 size of a dress doesn't always work, that is what fitting rooms are for!!! I will NEVER go back! Plus they still had my older daughters prom dress hanging on the wall from January of 2020, and her shoes were still...
