Im still very unhappy with my experience from last year that I realized I never posted a review so here it is! I did send in a formal complaint but never heard back.
My husband and I went into this Cartier location with the intention of buying something back in June 2022. We had an idea of the item we wanted, but I still wanted to try other items on. When you walk into a designer store with money in your wallet that you worked so hard to save, you expect nothing short of an incredible experience but that is the complete opposite of what we got.
For starters, walking into the store we felt JUDGED by the associate who ended up helping us. She was not happy, pleasant or talkative. I told her we wanted X item but would love to try on other items. She pulled out X item but wasn’t helpful with the process at all. I had to ask the questions instead of her telling me about the item and helping with the sale. Not to mention she literally threw the item onto the velvet container versus gently placing it down. She kept tapping her fingers and foot, and sighing so it was clear she didn’t want anything to do with us. We felt so rushed despite only having been there a few minutes, and I felt bad so we didn’t try on any other items and decided to move forward with the purchase.
Sitting down with her was the worst because 1) she LIED to us and 2) put up a fight when we told her our method of payment (cash). Starting with #2… when telling her we wanted to pay cash she straight up said that it would take her 10x as long to process and that we should just pay with credit card so we can get the points. We were so over her so we agreed. Towards the end I was feeling anxious because I felt like the item was too big on me, but she assured me that I can bring it back any time in the next 30 days to exchange for a smaller size. I doubled down on this and asked if there was anything we needed to be aware of to ensure this exchange would be possible, she said no. You can wear it as much as we wanted and bring it back to exchange if needed.
We were only there for MAYBE 15 minutes - that’s how rushed we were. So that was disappointing to say the least. The next day we went back because I decided I wanted a smaller size and they turned me away because I had been wearing the item and there was clear wear signs on it. I told them the associate from yesterday didn’t say anything about this and that if I knew that I wouldn’t have worn it all day.
The whole experience was horrible. I’ve vowed to never buy from Cartier ever again and I tell anybody who will listen to me about this experience. They clearly profile people based on how they look and what they’re wearing, and if you don’t fit their criteria they’ll be rude to you and rush you. It was so disappointing. I’ve heard that the Cartier stores in Europe don’t act like this, so I’d recommend waiting until you can make it overseas to purchase...
Read moreI received an AMAZING service from the Cartier manager (Ampapan Chislett) at the Scottsdale Fashion Square boutique. My husband bought me a beautiful Cartier watch for our anniversary gift while we were traveling in Florence, Italy. As soon as I started wearing my watch, I noticed that my watch was not working right (was always behind). Unfortunately at that time, we flew out of Italy so we couldn’t go back to the store we purchased in Florence. When I got back home (Scottsdale), I took my watch to the Cartier store at Scottsdale Fashion Square mall. I explained the situation to the manager. Apparently if you buy anything from Cartier (outside of US), and if something goes wrong with that product, you have to make the exchange in the store where you purchased the product.
So they couldn’t do the exchange for me in US. I ended up doing sooooo many back to back repairs on my watch for almost 2.5 years! Eventually, I was so disappointed with all the repairs (especially since the watch had problem since day one!). Ampapan (the Cartier manager), worked SO hard on my case (as I’m sure she does the same with other clients), and finally got the approval from the Cartier head corporate to exchange the watch with a new one for me! I’m very pleased and grateful for a service that professionalism that I received at this store. They have a great team, lovely employees and an INCREDIBLE manager! When I want to buy my next Cartier watch, I will definitely shop from this store! Totally recommend this store to anyone who is looking to get an amazing service while enjoy shopping the...

I walked in to inquire how to activate the warranty for a new watch and purchase a new leather strap for it. The 1st woman who assisted me didn't know and asked another associate who then had to ask another associate. They all said that's done "online" providing little to no guidance of how it's done or provide a walkthrough.
When I asked if I can get the box wrapped. MORGAN M. - in a very loud and condescending voice said "no we're not gonna do that. we don't do that here. Uh-uh" her demeanor, tone, and body language was all unprofessional. I walked over to her and before I even got to ask she gave me a dirty look and walked away. No I wasn't rude, no I wasn't coercive, just simply walking over to provide additional context to my initial question.
Imagine spending 15k on Cartier watches within 6 months only to be scolded out of the store. I'm not expecting the red carpet/Royal treatment but is common courtesy too much to ask for? A simple "sorry sir, that's against our policy because x, y, z" or "that's actually done online, I'd be happy to show you how" would have sufficed.
Management - if you are employing people such as MORGAN MONOCO who do not want to provide decent customer service because it's too much work for them. I'd advise you to refer them to the nearest circle k.
READER - read all the bad reviews and they have one thing in common: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'd suggest you purchase your...
