I was on a difficult mission to find my wife a (somewhat slightly early) Christmas gift. Luckily, I met Francis Sakhdari (aka “Fran”), she was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I came into the store at around 8:30pm during the Holiday extended hours at Fashion Square mall. It was surprisingly busy. But Fran warmly greeted me and she assisted me go through the various options. Do I pick earrings, bracelet, necklace, diamond ring, gold accessories? I brought up the fact that I was actually on the hunt for Chanel sunglasses. Come to my surprise Hyde Park is an authorized vendor of Chanel jewelry. She showed me several pieces. And never pressured me to buy. At around 9:30pm after +60 min of going back and forth, and I was about to leave. She gave me her card, and asked if I would like to return as she could hold some of the pieces. I ended up buying a Chanel gold and Diamond pendent. And arranged for it to be picked up the next day, as it was 9:45pm after all the paperwork. I returned with my wife, to see if she would like the piece. Fran had wrapped it nicely, and a stuck on a perfect hand crafted decorative bow. It was almost too nice to unwrap. My wife’s face was priceless when she opened the Chanel jewelry box, it was a gigantic smile and I could see her eyes light up. As I had spent well over $50K in luxury goods just last month, so I didn’t have a lot of options nor was she expecting more pieces, which to some folks; $50K is nothing. But the point was; it was becoming more difficult for sure to pick items that matched her unique taste and get a big reaction. My wife loved the pendant, and then she also picked out a matching Chanel time piece. Hyde Park welcomes anyone, whether you have a $100 budget or a $1 million dollar budget. They also are one of the few authorized resellers of Rolex, which I signed up on a waitlist for a time piece if it comes in stock, as most people know you cannot generally buy a new Rolex due to limited in store stock. I had the pleasure of working with Jill Keto at Hyde Park Jewelers to design an amazing engagement ring for my girlfriend (now, fiancée). Jill met with me initially over FaceTime and explained to me the process of designing a custom ring through Hyde Park and had some example rings to show me. She was thorough and listened to all my questions, comments, and the requirements I had for the ring. Most importantly, she was very respectful of my budget and never pushed me to spend beyond it.

After a few weeks, I met with her in the store and she had a wonderful selection of diamonds for me to look at. I probably spent three hours debating over which one I liked the best, and Jill gave me her full and complete attention through the entire meeting and never once made me feel like I was taking too long or was imposing at all. I am a very picky person, but Jill stuck with me and helped me select a gorgeous diamond. She also gathered all the information on exactly the style of setting I wanted with specific features. She worked with Hyde Park’s contact to have the setting made. I was sent CAD models of the setting prior to it being made, and I was even allowed to have small adjustments made to the CAD model during the process.

Jill was available to me by text almost 24/7. Even on her off days she would answer my questions and she never got annoyed at how many I asked (trust me, it was a lot). The ring turned out beautifully; my fiancée loves it and could not be happier. We came back into the store together to ask Jill some more questions (making sure it fit properly, etc.) and even then she was more than happy to help us and gave us all the time we needed.
