Dover Apartments — Local services in Seattle

Lived at The Dover from September 2023-April 2025. This apartment building is a hidden gem and I’m going to miss my studio apartment. Also I must mention, the company that took over called “The Pilot” definitely know how to take care of the place. A lot has been upgraded since they’ve took over and the Manager Dave is definitely the best landlord I’ve ever had and was always quick to respond if I ever needed anything. Also must mention the gentlemen who is the maintenance is a very handy-man and was always seen on sight touching up on things. I highly recommend living at The Dover if you’re looking to live downtown. My packages never got stolen as long as I lived here. The main entrance/door is a very secure door keeping strangers out. I’ve lived here for 7 months and I love it. Is it a 104 year old building (used to be a brothel, my fav) that comes with all the problems of having a 104 year old building? Yes. Do I hear people yelling outside my place sometimes? You live on 6th and Marion, what do you expect? The new management is excellent, the two problems I’ve had were addressed quickly and with care. Come to think of it, someone else on this review said this place was haunted and ran outside screaming and I think I heard them. Says more about them than the apartment though. Location is excellent. Access to transportation is excellent. It’s extremely affordable and if you can handle living downtown in an old building then it’s the place for you. I’m from Seattle so I feel like a cosmopolitan queen living here....

I've been living here for almost 7 year or more I really like the place ..I know is kinda far away from stores and such but im.used it by now ...the real downside is now more than ever there are moving in really young tenants who are not considerate and make noises loud noises at hours that arw supposed to be quiet...management is helpless..apparently you have to deal with any dispute disrupt or whatever comes up ..and that's why I gave one star ...I'm paying like everybody else for a place in can call home ..this is not a bar nor a place to be loud whenever...
