MILLIE — Local services in Seattle

Ok, I am hating that I have to give this poor review. I went in and bought some jeans that were on sale (The word 'sale" was used, not 'clearance' or any other word that would give me pause about returns). They were still more expensive than the big brands, but I love little boutiques, so I'm willing to have a few staples like this. At no point did the lovely sales lady say that the sale was final. I went in the next day because I was just not quite feeling them any more, and they would not do a return or an exchange at all. I even asked for a gift card exchange and was shot down with a pretty poor excuse that they can't adjust the stock back in. As an inventory specialist, I have never ever encountered a system that would not allow adjustments, and is an unbelievable flaw in any inventory system. The jeans still had their tags on, and were completely unblemished (i had worn them for about 10 minutes at home). I'm upset because I really love the vibe and the selection and supporting local businesses, but I just feel so heartbroken about this experience that I can't see myself ever going back or...

MILLIE is my favorite boutique in Seattle! If you’re looking for high-quality wardrobe staples to wear all year, this spot has something for you. The owner, Kathryn, is so cool and does an amazing job at making you feel welcome and at ease. She also has great taste and was super helpful with styling recommendations. I took my daughter shopping at Millies. They were very helpful with guiding us through the cool & contemporary brands in the boutique. There were so many items we haven’t found anywhere else in Seattle. The owner has curated the shop with style. My daughter is a teen and loves everything we bought. Even though the inventory is modern I was able to find clothing and accessories for myself as well. The owner was informative about the hot items that sold out and when they would be restocked.
