My new favorite regular sushi spot 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Ikiiki Sushi has quickly become one of our new favorite places for sushi. The prices are reasonable, the food is great, the atmosphere is small and welcoming. It’s right off Queen Anne Ave on the top of the hill in a quieter are. We LOVE the Sea Turtle roll - it’s so unique with no rice, and cucumber on the outside. Great low carb option, and something different I’ve never seen anywhere else!! The Cherry Blossom roll is also amazing. The presentation is super pretty and actually looks like a flower! We also got the Samurai, Spider, and Crunchy Spicy Salmon roll which were all good. I love that they have a huge variety on the menu - lots of noodle options, soups, fried rice, vermicelli noodles, pho, pad Thai, udon, meat main dishes etc… So it’s not just sushi, they have a huge menu!! Definitely need to go back and try the other stuff!

It's a sushi place with Chinese dishes, too. From the outside, it doesn't look too inviting and the pictures on the menu look like they were taken from an iPhone 1, but worry not. The food is DELICIOUS! I ordered the chicken katsu and it was incredibly crunchy and juicy...my mom and sister even couldn't get enough of my dish despite having ordered their own meals. The sashimi plate is also great; the fish are cut thickly and you get what you pay for which is always a good thing in my book. Lastly, the tempura and udon. Tempura is crispy and you can taste the flavor of each veggie and shrimp that's coated. On top of that, it wasn't too oily like most tempuras are. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for something Japanese or even Chinese. (Although, I haven't tried the Chinese portions yet, I'm certain it will be just as delicious!)

My two daughters and I have been exploring restaurants in Seattle. Time was limited so we try to go to random places we pass by. Ikiki was one of them. I was skeptical when I walked in but since my daughter wanted to try I stayed. We ordered chicken katsu, tempura udon, and sashimi plate. When the food arrived all three of us was shocked. My jaw dropped. Normally tempura udon is a bowl of udon with 1 tempura shrimp. This came with a plate of shrimp and veggie udon. The katsu dish could feed 2 people. My sashimi plate was so beatiful. Most importantly the fish was fresh. Since we were in a restaurant adventure we normally try not to go twice and trust me it has been hard. But we did go back to pick up chicken katsu for lunch the next day since we were in the neighborhood.

On my trip to Seattle I had to get some Seattle sushi, of course. Only I wish I had known the sushi place I was going to was going to have a likely roach infestation. I saw 7 roaches in the booth my family and I were sat at in the span of at least an hour. Not only the roaches were bad, but the menu was very misinforming unless if I happened to read it wrong but the menu fails to mention caviar will be put on your spider rolls along with mango inside them as well. I have never once in my 18 years of (heavily sushi influenced) life seen mango in spider rolls. About the caviar, I know some restaurants will put caviar on your sushi but they will first ASK if you want it. The family I brought and myself didn’t even get the chance to eat the food that was good because we were so disgusted by the roaches we had to leave. 1 star. 2/10 (just because our waitress was very nice)....
