I like your coffee shop much much much less now that dogs are not allowed (in the pike st location, at least). Why did you think this was a good idea? I have been going 3-4+ days a week to get coffee from you for the last six or more years. Now I do not go at all because Iām upset about this decision. When I worked close to the 15th st location, I specifically went to visit my dog friends there at 10:15am. The coffee is good, but I question the direction you have decided to go with managing this brand lately, for reasons beyond just the dog thing. It used to be a fun place to go and now it smells like fear inside your shops. The new manager at one point quarreled loudly and terrifyingly with me when I was simply trying to understand a change in how I had been told the ābuy tenā cards worked. I am happy to comply with whatever a local business feels it needs to do to succeed, but if there is a change, you should expect to tell people, not for them to just āknowā because the way it was explained to me five years ago doesnāt make sense to the new folks. I really tried to keep going here and it gives me anxiety now, and it makes me sad to see the changes. Try the vegan bagels or Tacos Chukis in Capitol Hill if you want something...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwful experience. It was our first (and only) time visiting this place. We walked in around 10AM on a Monday. 5 customers and 2 employees (and 1 of the employees was talking with a customer about a wedding). The other employee seemed indifferent when we stepped up to place an order. We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The sitting area smelled bad, like trash. The order took a while to receive. When we finally did get our order, the self-service station had no sugar, so go back to the counter to request some. The water container was empty, so go back to the counter for water. We sat down to eat and the breakfast sandwich was cold, so go back to the counter to ask for it to be re-heated. The other food item was completely tasteless, so I didn't even eat it. After standing there for a minute, we simply walked out. This experience was...
