UPDATE: After seeing this review, the manger kindly (and promptly) reached out to me to come back in and fix it. When I arrived the next day for my appointment, the techs were so accommodating and got my nails exactly how I like them! Overall, great customer service all around, and wonderful quality services. I have been here a few times. The first couple visits, particularly the second time I came here, I had a wonderful experience. The nail tech who worked with me was so attentive and made sure my manicure and pedicure was exactly how I wanted. However, my most recent visit was quite different. The tech I worked with wasn’t very communicative. Upon first shaping my nails, several of them were different lengths/shapes, and I had to ask a few times for them to be corrected. I got a gel-x fill, and after he shortened my nails they immediately became so much thicker—and he left my natural nail underneath poking out and incredibly sharp. When I asked why they were so thick, he said that he said this was a byproduct of me requesting them to be shorter. And said that there wasn’t much he could do without ruining the integrity of the nails. If this is the case, I wish I was told this before he asked me if I wanted them shorter as I would have left them as is…now they look like a sloppy acrylic set…Lastly, the gel application in both my fingernails and toes is lumpy, messy on the edges and just...
   Read moreI usually love this place and they do a good job, but after my recent visit I don’t think I’ll ever be back. First, I had an appointment at 5:30 for a pedicure. I had called and asked what their availability was and they told me 5:30. So I show up at 5:30 and check in. And wait… and wait…. and wait. I am finally sat at 6:30 (ONE HOUR after my appointment time!!) No apologies, no explanations.
The pedicure proceeded to be the worst pedicure I’ve had in my life. The technician seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. She didn’t cut my toenails (until I asked right before she went to put the polish on), she was filing the tops of my toes instead of my nails ??? She only massaged one of my legs??? I was so confused.
On top of it all, she forced me out of the chair as soon as she was done because the salon had already closed and she needed me to leave. No time to wait and let the polish dry because I was sat down a whole hour late!!! The paint job was rushed and bad and I ended up redoing it at home. Big waste of $45.
I’ve liked all the other technicians I’ve had here, but I don’t want to risk getting her again so I’ll likely just take my business elsewhere. They use to have such a high standard of quality, I don’t know...
   Read moreUpdated review: I was contacted with an apology and the offer of free art. I appreciated that, and made it a point to try again for my next vacation. This time they hit it out of the park. It looks exactly like the photo I used, and is just so joyful. I'll come again!
Loved the Gel-X. Couldn't communicate "navy to silver ombre" to my tech and ended up with expensive "art" i didn't want, but spun to myself as a "Snowy winter night" just to get out of there before I cried. Watching my tech try to stamp was painful. Chrome was only on one of the two nails it was supposed to be on, because he couldn't figure it out. Charged full art price though.
End of the day, it took too long, and cost too much, to not get one of the two good people there. Might as well spend $60 and go anywhere...
