One of my fave is Alyssa Franks. She combines humor, mindfulness and body awareness in an enlivening class. Challenging, yet offers plenty of cues for working at your own edge. As someone who just moved to the area, I tried to use this studio via ClassPass at a 4:30pm time. I had the hardest time finding anywhere to park, and by the time I tried to open the door at 4:33, it was locked. I’ve never been to a yoga studio that doesn’t have at least a 5 minute grace period.

So not only did I not get to do the class, they’ll charge me $12 for a “no-show.” I will never attend a class here.

I found my yoga home! I have just finished yoga teacher training and was looking for a place near home to practice daily. This is a relaxed, happy atmosphere with un-pretentious and brilliant teachers. The other yogis are like me - not in uber expensive yoga clothes looking at themselves in a mirror - just a mom and yogi that wants to stretch my heart and work on myself inside and out....
