Coffeeholic House Greenwood — Restaurant in Seattle

I hate to complain because the girls are genuinely very sweet here, but it's a classic example of being 'nice' versus being 'kind' in this case. The first time I came here, I ordered the Vietnamese coffee because it is notably stronger, but I wasn't familiar with condensed milk and didn't really feel like doing research. I counted on the girls to give me honest feedback about what it was. They told us that it "wasn't that sweet", so I went ahead and ordered it. I'm pretty sure I asked for light ice at the time and I got a regular amount of ice. The coffee ended up being way too sweet, and I have a sensitivity to sugar. I dealt with it because I had already ordered and just left it at that. It did give me amazing energy for work all day, but my stomach suffered for it. My best friend is also diabetic and shouldn't be having things that are too sweet.

The next time I came for coffee, I got the half sweet and light ice, and they give me a full amount of ice again. This time I noticed what happened, and came back. I ended up coming back and showing them the full cup of ice I still had after finishing my coffee. They told me that the same amount of coffee is in the cup because of how they measure it. So instead of filling the rest with plain unsweetened milk or water (since I want it less sweet anyway), or suggesting a smaller size cup (as a certain name brand competitor has suggested in the past,) they automatically made an assumption that I was trying to get more coffee. I want less ice because it's cold outside and cold drinks hurt my throat. I didn't want to have to explain all that.

The girls really need to work on their problem-solving skills instead of making these rude assumptions, and work on their sense of initiative. I will not be coming back. Also please stop telling people that the drinks aren't that sweet when they are in fact...

Would be five stars easily if this review was only based on their coffee🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗. Bac Xiu is my FAVORITE!!! Ube is amazing!!! Coffeeholic Dream is a dream you never want to end…🤤🤤

Too bad they lose three stars based on their customer service 😔. Which is unfortunate. I still go too burnt espresso Starbucks more (A1 customer service) even though the coffee’s I buy at both are around the same price and I would prefer to give all my monies to a “Ma & Pa Shop” vs a Major Corp. But if you accidentally order the wrong drink, or accidentally drop it in the store, or something along those lines…which both has happened to me

Coffeeholic procedure is “It’s your fault, WE CANT REMAKE A DRINK BECAUSE WE ARE A SMALL BUSINESS AND CANT AFFORD TO MAKE YOU ANOTHER DRINK, you will have to pay for a new one!!!” 😳😳😳 Yea I got that from the Barista & the Manager!

The first time I heard that I was blown away. My lady works for a small boutique coffee shop in Honolulu. When I told her that she couldn’t believe it. Her coffee shop also has unique coffee drinks. Even if a customer doesn’t like it, they’ll make them a new drink with no extra charge just like every other coffee shop or food establishment that I’ve ever been to in my 34 years of living. One of their customers tripped and dropped his coffee all over the floor(It happens trust me) and before the drink was cleaned up his new drink was already prepared!!! If he was in Coffeeholic “Sorry sir, you have to pay for a new drink”

I’ve been in Sales/Customer Service/Retail all my life. Great customer service is the key to any “LOVED” business. It’s just sad that one of the best tasting coffee shops in Seattle (Which there is many) has the worst customer service...

Cute, local, and amazing Vietnamese coffee shop that touts bring the first Viet coffee shop in Seattle! I was able to come back for the Greenwood re-opening and I’m glad to say that it’s as good as ever. The Coffeeholic dream is a must!

Food The Coffeeholic dream with ube drizzle is probably one of their most popular drinks and for good reason. The coffee is good and the ube adds just a bit of extra flavor if you like ube. It’s also very aesthetic. The drink is sweet overall and the cheese foam makes it creamy! I also ordered the vegan dream for my mom and she liked it as well. I look forward to going back to try all the other drinks.

Atmosphere Chill coffee house with a decent number of seats. I went in Saturday morning at 10am and it was almost full. By the time I left at 11am, there’s a line out the door. Noise level is not too loud.

Pricing Reasonable pricing for the drinks. Not much more pricier than some other coffee places, but I feel like a different kind of experience and drink can be had here.

Service Service was friendly and drinks came out in a couple minutes.
