I've been a frequent customer for Laem Buri the last few months and had a terrible experience today. The woman at the front desk with long brown hair was very rude to me after multiple times I confirmed I would like 'fresh' spring rolls. When I saw her package up fried spring rolls, I told her my order was wrong. She proceeded to argue with me back and forth when I said there has been a miscommunication. Instead of fixing my order, she argued that I had said fried spring rolls when I had not. Perhaps she hadn't heard me through my mask, but she was very resistant and not willing to give me what I had ordered. After this back and forth she rolled her eyes at me and asked 'well what do you want then? shrimp or tofu' I ended up saying forget and told her I did not appreciate her attitude since it was a miscommunication. Read moreOur first experience with Laem Buri leaves me wanting more, though I couldn't possibly fit it in. The servings are ample! I ordered red curry with tofu and broccoli. Delicious! Lots of broccoli, too. The curry sauce is a little thinner than I'm used to but really tasty. Pad see eiw with beef and eggplant is great. I didn't mind adding a little extra salt to the eggplant as I wouldn't want the rest of the dish to be any saltier. Note, that the wide noodles might have been overdone just a bit, but I can't really say for sure, since this was a take-out order, so there was a lag between their kitchen and my dinner table. The flavors were great. My advise: get the brown rice. It's wonderful and not bland like white rice can be, still tender! We'll be back...

Stop in and kick back with a Thai Iced Tea - be daring and ask for 1 star more than you usually would.
Try something new and change up from your traditional Pham Thai order. The duck is quite good. Pineapple fried rice, and coconut curry is worth trying a few different times. You know, just to make sure it’s great. 😜
Greenwood and Phinney Ridge folks - get off the couch and go dine in. Stop paying service fees and delivery fees. Get out and support small businesses; your business owners will appreciate when you tip the staff that work there and not just some delivery driver.
