I joined my mom for some shopping. She definitely found a few things she needed and I found a few things that I thought had funny names or looked interesting. The line was quite long but the store was very busy and the cashiers seemed to be on top of the rush. I noticed a seasoned employee helping into the front area. Helping answer questions and coach in areas where she could. The cashier also went ahead and asked about enrollment for the TJ Maxx credit card. So as far as company direction goes I'm sure they would be proud that even in a busy store and a rush of people she didn't get overwhelmed enough to sacrifice company direction for a faster transaction time. This Information was hidden from staff by management and retaliation is being threatened against staff members that are aware of the attempted cover up. More than one employee got infected since and customers could possibly be infected as the area the sick employee was in wasnt cleaned or disinfected during the shifts when they had corona and was interacting directly with employees and handling products and money at the register.
