Reasonably large & spacious store w/comparably sized selection/variety of shoes & footwear. Plenty of places to sit down to try on shoes & mirrors to see how they look on you. I also liked the wide aisles, which allow you plenty of room to pass by other people without having to squeeze past them. You could probably easily fit a 2-child/double stroller down them! There weren't a ton of employees, but it also wasn't impossible, nor extremely difficult, to find 1 if/when you needed to ask a question. Their prices def weren't the very best I'd seen, specifically for athletic/running/walking shoes, but they also weren't outrageously priced, or super expensive. The best way to get really good deals here is to sign up as a member of their loyalty program! If you do, you earn pts on every purchase which will add up to earn you $5+ off future purchases, and even better, they'll mail/email you coupons on a relatively regular basis, that you can use to get a really great deal on their shoes. For example, when I was there with my mother, she had 3 diff coupons from them, one for $20 off one item, $10 off one item, & 30% off your purchase! So, those were pretty good deals! The only thing that I didn't like was that you can never seem to stack any of these coupons, even when they are good for the same dates, AND frustratingly, even when the back of the coupons explicitly say that you CAN, in fact, use them...

I paid and said thank you and she literally just looked at me like all pissy?? the one star is because I liked the socks I purchased, but I don’t think I’ll come back in because girl acted like I did...
Read moreDSW is where we buy shoes because the selection is always good and the experience is always good until it comes time to checkout. I do not give my phone number or email to stores but they always ask and I always politely refuse even when asked multiple times in a single visit, discount or not. This time was a bit different because the person at the register decided to call me "crazy" for not wanting the discount. Crazy or not, it is very unprofessional to call your customers names. I realize this is a business model to bring in repeat business but one refusal...
