DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS
We live in Arizona and passing through and needed ONE tire on a Sunday, the cords were showing on my tire and they over charged me 3 TIMES what the tire is worth! How do I know this? We have a good friend that owns a tire shop back in Arizona and the tire alone sub $80/ tire.
First off we show up at the â24hr serviceâ shop and nobody was there, doors locked and all. So we called the number and the guy was already rude once he answered the call and said âlet me call and see if I can get someone there Iâll let you know.â. My boyfriend says âok this is my cellphone number feel free to call when you find out.â My boyfriend then proceeds to call other places to see if they have the tire we need in the meantime. So we waited. 10-15mins go by my boyfriend had to call back and my boyfriend asks âdid you hear back?â The guy says âyea somebody is on their wayâ and we asked âdo you know by chance how much itâll be?â And he rudely said âWell I canât give you a price because I donât know what size tire you need and Iâm not thereâŚâ We then asked him âis there an ETA?â And he rudely says âIDK heâll get there when he gets thereâ and hangs up. so we waited 15 minutes, and the guy finally showed up. We gave him the size we needed so he started to remove the tire. When he went to find the size tire we needed we noticed the racks with all the tires on them looked like they were sitting there for MONTHS. We asked âhow much would this be?â And he said âoh I donât know the guys that knows will be hereâŚâ (my boyfriend turns to me and says. âTheyâre going to overcharge me watch, I have a bad feeling.â) The guy(owner who we spoke with) showed up with his son 20minutes later after the tire was changed. So once the tire was replaced my boyfriend went inside to pay and the interaction was HORRIBLE, LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACKING PROFESSIONALISM, & just overall shouldnât even be in business. âCustomers are a burden to this guy in his 24hr business.â
The guy gives my boyfriend the prices, $200 FOR ONE TIRE! My boyfriend responded saying âfor a $60-$80 tire?â The guy then responded RUDE AF while pointing at the paper âwhat are you talking about? It says here the tire costs $120.â My boyfriend then says âmy friend owns a tire shop and I know that tire isnât $100.â The guy rudely responds saying âthen you should have called your friend.â My boyfriend goes âyea heâd be able to help me all the way from Arizona.â Then the guy responds back talking down on my friends shop on how he runs his business. At this time is when my boyfriend had inserted his card and was checking his app to transfer money when the owner rudely puts the machine in his face and holds it their and says âyou going to put your pin in or what?â My boyfriend responds âyea once I transfer the money to my bank account.â The guy goes âwell I wish I would have known that so I didnât have to hold the machine up.â So he puts the machine down and walks away. My boyfriend finishes transferring money grabs the machine puts his pin in and the reciet prints and asked the guy âdo I need to sign it?â and he said âno you donât have toâ and my boyfriend says âthanks a lot â and walks out.
Looking at the receipt they charge you $34 for AFTER HOURS when the sign clearly says 24HR SERVICE and charged $7.00 for disposal of the tire⌠they did not discuss any of this prior to install. This is why my boyfriend had a bad feeling.
THESE GUYS ARE LAST RESORT UNLESS YOU ARE REALLT DESPERATE
As we were writing this my boyfriend calls our friend and confirmed the price of the tire is no where near the price we were charged. We could of almost gotten 4 new tires for Fiesta(which are usually...
Read moreHere is a our experience with this shop. We did have a trailer broke down in Shamrock, TX. We had axle issue - deiced chain up axle, and reload trailer. Here is some prices for everybody to see before come to this shop. For chain up axle - 290$. To put air in a flat tire - 100$. To reload 22 pallets to another trailer - from 800 to 1800$. First day, shop manager said 800-1800$, next day no more then 900-1000$, third day - again from 800-1800$. Very hard to cooperate with this people. We did call them to check if they air up tire for 3 days, and they never did, they want us to stay there and do reloading trailer in their shop. Finally we got our tire fixed (for 100$) and left this place. This people think they the only one who has a shop around and they use it so bad, giving a really hard time for truck drivers. Be AWARE of this place, if you have a...
Read moreMy car tire had been shaking, and I had just gotten into Shamrock around 11pm. I thought I'd never find a shop open that late, or open on the 4th of July. Got lucky and found these great guys!! They found the problem in 30 seconds, it was a broken belt inside the tire. They even showed me where it was smooth on one side, and bulbous looking on the other half, hence the wobbling and shaking. They put on a new tire, balanced it and all done in less than 10 minutes! The price was reasonable, considering how quickly they got to me, how fast they fixed my problem, and the fact that they helped me at 11pm the night before Independence Day. I am truly grateful for them, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND their shop for any of your vehicle needs or roadside rescue! These guys are life savers!! Saved me from having a blowout on my trip home. Thank you so much Irish Road...
