The food is great and we enjoyed coming here until my veteran husband was denied service at the door for having a service dog. Take your business elsewhere.
Update: since the owner wants to be that way with their reply, let me just point out a few more things. 1) we were told to leave if we did not provide our medical documentation for the dog. She did not ask if my husband was a veteran (not her business and I do not have to disclose). She did not ask what the dog was for (which she could have) she asked to see doctors paperwork (which she cannot ask for). I am well aware of fakes and the issues they cause. You’re not the first rude uneducated service dog hater I’ve dealt with. Also had you looked at the dog, his vest is marked with the US flag to show that he is a veterans dog! But you didn’t even look, you just assumed. 2) don’t you dare try to blame this on me. My husband is not required to bring his service dog with him every time he leaves the house so don’t act like us coming in without him justifies your poor behavior. #3) you didn’t ask us anything to try and keep us there or to have a conversation, you told us to leave which means our business is not welcome in your restaurant. ...
Read moreStopped here for breakfast on our mother daughter trip to the coast, and it was fantastic. Highly recommend the breakfast hot pocket. The texture and taste of the pastry was perfect. Filled nicely with egg, cheese and choice of meat. I had bacon 💚 with a side of the best tasting (not spicy) salsa I have ever eaten. We both had omelets and hashbrowns cubed. Perfect ingredient/egg ratio. The potatoes were just the right amount of crispy on the outside and light and soft in the middle. Seasoned just right. (Great dipped in the sausage gravy) we also had a biscuit and gravy. The gravy was delicious. Not too heavy, perfect texture for biscuits. The biscuit looked like it was grilled and it was soft and dense at the same time. Not to thick or too thin. With a wonderful buttery flavor. The owner was extremely friendly and a great server and did not even kick us out when my daughter wanted to dip her potatoes in mayonnaise. Nicely decorated, open and inviting dining room with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. We felt very welcome and relaxed. We even met very friendly locals outside. Overall, stopping in this town was a great decision. We'll definitely be stopping by again on our next trip....
Read moreWhat a gem of a staff and restaurant. We stopped by for breakfast and had the most delicious and filling food one could have asked for. My son ordered the French Toast and enjoyed it very much. My wife ordered the Haystack and was amazed at how delicious it was. The buttery homemade biscuit topped with peppery sausage gravy, hash browns, bacon and ham, and creamy cheddar cheese. All of it together tasted amazing because I got to try it as well. Both my wife and son had enough room to each eat an additional biscuit. I ordered the Ranchers Omlette with shredded hash brown and a side of biscuits and gravy. The omlette was fluffy and cheesy, and chock full of meat (sausage, bacon, and ham) that made it taste even better. I ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and believe it was the best I have ever had. Big and buttery biscuits topped with a peppery sausage gravy made for the most delicious side to the Rancher's Omlette. It is so worth the visit if you are in town or passing through...
