The Veggie Bite — Restaurant in Shamrock

Our hotel Irish Inn highly recommended us about this restaurant that just opened. We stopped by to pickup some quick eats. Unlike many Indian restaurants this one stood out for its cleanliness. Friendly staff greeted us with a smile. I wanted goat curry and he told me that it just got done cooking and will be ready in few minutes. Once the food was ready, he made sure I had extra napkins, forks and plates to go as well. Price was very reasonable and the goat curry was the GOAT. My wife had some garlic naan which was fresh and warm. She enjoyed it. We saw that they also have a buffet daily from 11 to 4 pm as well. My wife is not a fan of hot spicy food. So, I had them make the goat curry with medium heat and it was perfect for her as well as me. I highly recommend...

We are on a roadtrip and stopped for the night in Shamrock. We were tired of fast food, so we were excited to see that an Indian restaurant was adjacent to our hotel.

We ordered chicken tiki masala, naan and extra rice—it was delicious. The naan was warm and fresh and the tiki masala tender and flavorful. The service was fast and the price was quite reasonable. The food was so good I wish that we were staying in town a few more days just so we could try more of their dishes.

We stayed at the Irish Inn and didn’t even know at first that the restaurant was next to the hotel. The entrance is located on the east side of the hotel. Also, despite the name, there are meat dishes...

Wow, just wow! Contrary to the name of the restaurant, this place has many meat forward options. We had the tandoori chicken, coconut fish curry, and butter chicken. Everything is made fresh - absolutely delicious. I am a trained culinary professional and I can say it was the best food we’ve had in ages. Must try!
