Well, I'm a sucker for fine Cuban cigars The problem is I can't afford 'em But last year I went and got myself a whole box And just to be safe I insured 'em I took out a policy against fire and theft And then I hurried home With a 50 cent lighter, I sat on my back steps And I smoked 'em one by one Two weeks later, I went to see that insurance man And I handed in my claim With a straight face I told him that through a series of small fires They'd all gone up in flames They reviewed my case and they had no choice But to pay me for what I'd done I took that check and bought a whole new box And I smoked 'em one by one Two weeks later, this detective shows up Tells me that company's pressin' charges One speedy trial later, they locked me up On twenty-four separate counts of arson And now I sit, and I stare at a blank brick wall Lookin' back on what I've done To pass the time, I've got some ten-cent cigars And I smoke 'em one by one Yeah, I smoke...
Read moreNot sure if this place is under new management but when they first opened, this place was top notch!! Full line of Davidoff cigars tells you that. Also they carried the full line of Padron 1926's. Cigars were fresh and smoked great. Went in there last weekend and the front door was propped open. Went inside and every sliding door to the humidors were wide open. Three Padron 1926's were in the humidor and not one single Davidoff in site. Also, the place was not very well kept. Seemed a bit dirtier than I remember before. I would also have to say their prices are a bit high and most of the cigars, including the $40 Padron behind the counter was dried out. No wonder. 70/70 factor is definitely not in place here. For freshness and better pricing, I would go to Jungle Jims or Straus downtown. Cigars too high and dry in...
Read moreI didn't know what to expect when I went into House of Cigar but the one word to describe it to friends is: HUGE!
This is the largest humidor I have been in and the bonus is the MASSIVE lounge area attached to it. I you like sitting back on a huge leather couch and enjoying a smoke while watching sports than this is your place. There are even some poker table if you want to play cards with some friends. It is a BIG space with multiple areas to hang out. Free Wifi if you need a place to work and smoke and I hear they are even BYOB (bring your own beverage). The next time you are in the Cincinnati area and you like cigars you need to swing by The House of Cigar. And for you Davidoff fans they have a merchant account and I snagged a great Davidoff Black Label...
