Just got back from returning a heater I had bought the day before,12/30/2017, because it would not be useful in a garage setting. The clerk must have not been trained in the use of heater as I had told him it would be for a garage. Cannot be around, gas, paint, etc. The clerk politely was willing to take the heater back. However, I had only the coupon receipt with me so I was offered a gift card in exchange. I thought that was nice and was OK with that. When I received the gift card it had a much smaller amount than I had paid for the heater the day before. I inquired why and was told that it would be returned at the lowest sale price the heater was advertised. I informed the clerk to look at the price on the shelf as I had only bought it "yesterday". I asked if I returned with the receipt if I would get the original price I had paid. Was informed that once I left the store the transaction was over, and that was the way they did business. If their business is to cheat a customer out of approximately $33, I would not be doing business there anymore. It is too bad as I enjoyed the store before and spent a lot of money this past year at the store, but will not be missing going there...
Read moreWent in today to get my sons new cleats. The only shoes in his side were display shoes. I accidentally grabbed the wrong size display show. At the register the young man that checked me out noticed and blankly said "these aren't the same size" He then answered the phone. He immediately went to the next register and said nothing else to me as my shoes sat out of the box on the counter. I repeatedly said "excuse me, may I go get the correct size" after asking 4 or 5 times and feeling very ignored as he continued to talk about skew numbers to someone on the phone. I asked again louder and finally he waved me on. I went on my own got the shoes and came back. I told him that it was rude to ignore me. He preceded to argue with me about how his manager was on the phone and he waved me to go back. I hope this was just this kids version of customer service but I feel good customer service starts with training and he obviously didn't have it. You really have to know me I really don’t play well with others but while in public I mind my own business. Now that said when as a consumer I don’t expect to get my butt kissed but I do command respect as I will always give respect. Well if you’re looking to visit a sporting establishment this won’t fit your pistol I don’t think that any of the employees were older then about (7) that’s the way they acted. Like playing a game of who could avoid the customer the fastest, RUDE nasty little leprechauns avoided every question and I’m not sure what that means to you but that tells me that this store manager doesn’t know whether to wind these but scratches watch not doing his employees any favors by not them in the department that they need to be in at all cost avoid this location because you will not be happy.
