I attend the LPN nursing program and I am disgusted with the way we are being treated! We are half taught by most teachers and we are told by the nursing director Ms.Mazzefero if we have concerns about anything regarding the program to come to her but she is not ever willing to listen to our concerns she gives us the cold shoulder, one word responses, constantly tells us WE lack integrity , and always talks down to us .I am not sure how it is possible this program is being ran so carelessly but this is absurd I cannot believe I decided to spend my money here I can honestly say when you first apply everything is sugarcoated when you're all settled in and are a paying person you're treated like gum on the bottom of a shoe. When you are doing good they implement new random orders (almost every decision comes from Ms.Mazzefero and the teachers tell us that ) she is currently making students retake an ati test because everyone did good she is now claiming the test was comprised because the answers were on Google every single ati test questions, answers and rationales are online and our teachers encourage to use those exact resources!!! the test is not comprised unless someone were to be able to cheat which was not the case,if that was the case the funds ati that everyone did terrible on would be considered compromised but guess what THEY MADE US KEEP THAT GRADE ,what is actually happening is she said she did not agree with ATI testing at all and that she did not want to proctor ATI exams but that she has to due to corporate so she is taking that out on us and is making students retake a test at the end of the mod while students are already studying hard for our other finals when this class should be completely finished which is adding unnecessary anxiety and stress she knows this retake will greatly impact grades and wipe the class out leading to yet another group of retakes for this class in particular that is clearly not being taught correctly especially when our teacher constantly apologizes that her teaching book has different answers than our student book yet does nothing about it so by the time we take a test we don't know the actual answers because her text says one thing and ours say another this is absolutely ridiculous and I will be contacting the correct individuals about this school since everyone at the school including the nursing head cannot/ refuses to help . If anyone knows any other resources for this type of issue please message me I would greatly...
Read moreCurrent student - If I had any other option that didn't require I pay over 30k I would've taken it but this was my only recourse to advance quicker in my nursing degree. Im 50/50 on whether I made a good a decision or not; I hope time flies by quickly. Pros : -School is what you pay for , an accelerated program. The school work and exams are reasonable. As long as you keep up with reading and homework you'll be fine. -Once you graduate your income will grow because of the acquired licensure/certificate received through the program Cons: - their first 3 months of clinicals is doing free CNA work because the instructors say all lpns will do this type of work. (LPNs dont do CNA work unless there’s an emergency) -it's like high school; full of drama and childishness. Since anyone can join as long as they can pay its full of problematic people. (To be expected) -The instructors have a habit of talking down to students and treating paying adults like children when they feel the right to do so. -The heads of the program don't really care about the students just that their quota is met. -Instructors are allowed to be bully's because they have the degrees to teach and it's hard to find qualified instructors. most instructors sound like they have no idea what they're teaching. They constantly read off slides and teach a math introduction class but only know how to do the problems with a calculator. They don't know how to do the math they're teaching by hand. -You're expected to pay almost 30k in school fees but cannot work more than 24 hrs a week. -They require you get a laptop for school and don't allow MacBooks but the laptops they provide are low quality. Constantly freezing or giving errors. -They offer computers on campus that are so slow and laggy. Their printers malfunction more than they function -The scrubs are low quality; within two weeks I had seams coming apart and the draw strings falling off. -The equipment in the nursing bags are low quality. -Be expected to do a bunch of...
Read moreI couldn't wait to come on here and share my awful experience with this school. I completed the LPN program and needed my transcripts sent over to the state via whatever website they use to do so. After paying for the NCLEX and doing my part, all i needed was them sent over. In July I called and they told me they would send them, i waited a couple weeks as I realize the process could take a bit on the states part. I called the state and they informed me nothing was sent. I called around 11 one day asking to speak with someone who could send them, I was informed they were in the office when i called back due to no answer. I called again left a message, i even emailed. this went on for a couple hours and finally at 3:30 i called back and they were gone for the day. I called the president of Lincoln tech that day as this was a time sensitive matter since I had the state on stand-by. I never received a call back from anyone except Ms. Mazzaferro who informed me they were sent. I called the state a week later and they still were not sent. The lady from the state helped me get them to her finally. Due to their lack of communication and no desire to help me I was pushed back months from getting an NCLEX date and...
