I took my elderly disabled mom to this location for phone assistance versus going to our usual Target store. Her phone is her lifeline. Literally. It was about a 35 minute ride but well worth the time, gas and effort. What an outstanding experience. It was bright, immaculate , modern, peaceful! Raymond was our phone expert and met us at the door and asked how he could be of help. He was beyond kind, patient and convivial with my borderline cranky/impatient 80 yo tech phobic mother. Raymond was such a joy. And so INCREDIBLY patient with my mother’s countless questions and “suspicions” lolol. He over explained sweetly/gently to ensure her understanding of her new phone and billing process. I’m so glad we bypassed 5 Target stores to visit this Consumer Cellular location. It was white glove service in an age when businesses are lacking in relationship building. I’m sad that we’ve been wasting time at Target locations because the sales reps are either too busy or haven’t a clue about phone features/Target stores have minimal phone options.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention, they were replete w/a large selection of yummy hot coffees(decaf for mom and non sugar creamer!!!) and snacks for their guests. Along with cold water. We will be back!

As a nurse of 34 years, I appreciated Raymond’s gentle bedside manner. Mom can be a handful and he handled her with gentleness and compassion.

A million stars for Raymond! His coworkers were also knowledgeable and extremely helpful! The entire experience was top notch from 10:30am to 11:46am. It never wavered. These 3 need to teach a course in customer service. I’m still in awe of them as I type this. Raymond deserves a raise and a huge promotion! Why? He left my 80 yo mother smiling and talking about him long after we left. She was wowed by him. Which is such a huge feat. Thanks Comsimer Cellular!! We will never go to Target again for her CC...

Jay is a rockstar and was patient enough to wait for a 1 1/2 hour call-back from my previous provider AT & T in order to get the correct account number. Sadly, we left AT & T after many years, but this is clearly a better option when you need a decent phone service with good customer support and a lower price point. While very much a targeted demographic in their marketing approach, others may find the cost savings and customer service worth checking out. The Shelton store is well staffed and if you have to wait they make it a pleasant experience with a great lounge seating area, snacks...

Consumer Cellular has been my carrier for over five years now. I am very happy with the service, but unfortunately, there is never anyone working at the CC kiosk in Target in my home town of Newburgh, NY...never. I discovered recently that CC has actual stores! So, I drove 75 miles to the CC store in Shelton CT to look at new phones. I was helped by a young man named Austin. He was VERY helpful and took his time with me. I am more than happy with my new phone as well as the facility and the way I was treated. Definitely worth the trip and I highly recommend this Consumer...
