Addendum to original review: (Stars adjusted accordingly) I have since been back a few times for pick up orders and the service is vastly improved, although, not fully stellar.
The box typically still has chocolate/sticky fingerprints on it, not exactly what I want smeared on the seat in my car. The cookies are for the most part as intended, although I have received some without the added touches (fruits, pralines, sprinkles, etc.) I always have to ask to open and see the cookies to ensure they are presentable. Which I’m pretty sure is part of their sales pitch, show the product at handoff. Once the kid was hesitant to open the box and immediately blurted out “I’ll make you a new one.” Only because he was powder sugar happy and put it on all the cookies instead of the one it was meant for. I wouldn’t be this particular if they weren’t ridiculously expensive.
They are always yummy regardless of the mess. They make a great gift for an office setting. I will confuse to purchase for my colleagues.
The app and rewards program are an added bonus.
Original review: Delicious HOT mess. Pros: Yummy Warm Gooey Great gift Free cookie
Cons: Expensive Sloppy presentation Ridiculously slow service Packaging covered in chocolate finger prints Refusal to offer refund with delayed service
I order 2 dozen cookies for $100 and received a complimentary cookie for the grand opening. Took 25 minutes of standing at the counter for my order to be done after texting “Here” in the app.
Staff was friendly, but very overwhelmed with poor communication to customer. At one point I requested a refund and was told “No, we are working on it.”
Complimentary cookie was undercooked in the center. The 24 other cookies I gave as gifts so unsure of they were baked fully.
Crumbl is the wrong name for this place. Should be called Dough or Raw, even Melted Choco Everywhere. Absolutely nothing about my cookie was...
Read moreRating 2 stars. Not because the cookies were bad- they tasted amazing HOWEVER, I ordered two 6 packs of cookies. Each box had one of each flavor of the week in it. I asked for any cookies containing nuts/ peanut butter to be packaged separately. The man boxing my order put the 2 peanut butter cookies together in one box and left the second box as a “nut free” box. Which isn’t what I asked for but since one box contained no nuts I didn’t argue it. I also noticed that he wasn’t careful about the cleanliness of his gloves. He handed the boxes to me and there was frosting and cookie residue on the sides and folds of the top. I thought to myself if the box is this dirty I bet he didn’t even change his gloves when dealing with the PB cookies. When I got home and my sister ate cookies from the nut free box, she began having an allergic reaction. Not only did he not package them separately, he did not take all the necessary precautions to prevent someone from potentially going into anaphylactic shock. While I understand it’s hard to prevent cross contamination, there have been other Crumbl locations that took our allergy needs very serious by changing gloves and using the individual cookie boxes to package the PB/nut cookies. When you have employees working at your food establishment this type of training should take...
Read moreWhen crumble cookie opened up in May of this year 2024, I was hesitant to order from them. I’ve tried this brand at a few different locations and it was horrible. However my very 1st order from the Shelton location was so delicious I had to drive back and give compliments to the baker. I found out her name is Tay’. Her balance of ingredients and measurements were spot on. I also found out she only works in the morning and it’s very noticeable. If you go to this location in the afterNoon and someone new is baking, unfortunately the cookies literally have no flavor. It’s like they forget to put the salt and vanilla into the mix. I give them a 3 star because the manager needs to higher more bakers like Tay’ who actually know how to bake. I’ve been a pastry chef for 17 years, so I think I know a good cookie when I taste one. It’s only been tasty when Tay bakes them and management doesn’t seem to delegate well or lead his team well. It definitely shows in the...
