Pokemoto Shelton — Restaurant in Shelton

I’ve visited other locations and this by far was the worst!! I was very disappointed with the quality of the ingredients of my bowl- tuna and salmon were basically frozen, and the rice was steamed with way too much water. When I came in I was not greeted for almost 10 minutes, and when the girl finally arrived she was on a personal phone call on speakerphone that she quickly had to turn the volume down on. Another man that worked there “snuck” back in through the back, not sure if he was on a smoke break or anything, but both employees were completely inattentive and appeared less than ideal hygiene-wise. The floors were not swept and mopped properly as my shoes were sticking to the floor in front of the food line.

Update- I tried to give them a second chance and it was more of the same. The floors were still sticky and the employees were just as lackadaisical about their interaction and quality control. As a long-time fan of this franchise, I was thrilled to hear about a new location opening closer to my workplace. Unfortunately, my experience at this branch left me disappointed. The atmosphere felt cheesy, lacking the authenticity I’ve come to appreciate at other locations. Additionally, the portions in my bowl were noticeably smaller, and, to add to my frustration, I was overcharged. My usual order is around $16, but this time I was charged $18.
