Nordstrom Rack — Local services in Shenandoah

October 2024. Whenever I make Nordstrom online purchases I feel safer now to have them delivered at the store because I had bad experiences before with Nordstrom shipping companies when they "deliver" my Nordstrom package but they never do. So I rather have my packages delivered to Nordstrom, Nordstrom rack for me to go pick them up here. Everyone was so nice to me, and if I didn't like my online order I would go return it there with no issue. But suddenly these older, overweight, Hispanic cashiers said I couldn't return my online orders anymore. I never had any issue returning my make up. But suddenly those specific cashiers said, they were no longer accepting online make up returns (from Nordstrom regular website) and they were all confusing me even more saying how they send one of my packages back, and how I should be getting a refund. The lady was just being mean and projecting her misery out on me. I had never had an issue with none of the other cashiers or any issue with me returning my make up if I didn't like it (I buy it from the Nordstrom regular website, not the Nordstrom rack website that says not returnable) I will never come back here. They're more educated and way nicer at the regular Nordstrom at the woodlands mall. I would just come pick up my Nordstrom online orders to this location because it's closer to my house. But never again. I feel so sorry for those ladies. They just look so miserable projecting their misery on the customers and they go on their little power trips to feel better about their miserable lives. Bless...

Dear Nordstrom Rack Customer Service,

I recently visited your location on February 11th around 11 AM to try on a couple of shirts and pants. Since there was no sales associate at the fitting room desk, I proceeded to walk toward the fitting room. An older sales associate followed me and, in a stern tone, informed me that the rules had changed and I couldn’t enter on my own. Unfortunately, her tone and delivery were not hospitable.

While I understand that policies may change, I believe the message could have been communicated in a more professional and courteous manner. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I value the level of service Nordstrom Rack is known for.

I found the guys selection a little disappointing. There were ok shoes, but no extremely good deals in my mind. The clothes racks were not very appealing, this is a down time in retail, I'd expect the store to be more organized. However it is still a NordstromRack. Since online returns from Rack cannot be returned at a regular Nordstrom I like having this near by. I find the deals a lot easier to find on their website rather than looking at jumbled clothes racks. The women's side looked better, more options (obviously) and looked more organized, but maybe it was because I was looking from a distance. Bottom line I'll probably be shopping online and making returns here when necessary, or I need an emergency accessory I've forgotten, like a...
