Ok so been eating at MOD for years! I was ecstatic when they started popping up in the Conroe area. The one in Conroe is great. The personalities and respect from the employees to the customer is above the call of duty. The one at Portifino is extremely lacking in customer service and personality. The guy making the pizza(no name tag) was an ass, when I asked for sausage he literally put 6 pieces of sausage on my pizza I had to ask 3 times before it even look remotely like a sausage pizza I received 6 slices of pepperoni as well. When I asked for jalapeños and serano peppers he paused As if I had asked for something I should not have, like I was crazy. My wife ordered in front of me and he too was extremely skimpy with the portions with her pizza. He never looked up at us and when a question was asked he abruptly said no and still never looked up. The place had 5 employees, the place wasn’t full 13 guest and the tables were filthy the floor was filthy, glad I didn’t have to go to the restroom! Owners need to send employees to customer service training and they need to learn respect and how to smile. Hell just send them to the Conroe store for a few days if they haven’t learned it by then they are worth keeping around. I will not return to this location if they don’t improve the service. The 2 stars are for the food it was good even though it wasn’t made as I had wanted it to be or as we are use to a MOD pizza being made it still...
Read moreI went into the Mod Pizza in Shenandoah. The customer service was horrid and honestly could have turned into a viral momentl. I waited to pick up my order for over 10 minutes while 3 people stood behind the counter and intentionally ignored me. Not a greeting when I walked in and literally all attempting to not make eye contact. It was a full 2 hours before closing with customers seated eating and no one else in line.A guy walked from the back and almost ran into me. He had earbuds in and wasn't paying attention. His clumsiness was the only reason he asked if I needed help. Sure, I've only been standing in the order pick up line for nearly 15 minutes with my pizza a few feet away on the rack. The rack with the employees standing buy and trying to nonchalantly ignore me.
I guess my tip wasn't big enough.
I normally like this location. I've never seen this crew before and sadly I think one of the employees was a team lead. That's why I didn't bother calling out the b.s. Oh well, I'm sure they won't be there long. I'll give it a few months before I go back to...
Read moreThis location is gross and filthy. They did take my blue cheese allergy seriously. There was no tea, lemonade, nothing to drink but soda. By the time I paid for my food my order was cooked. I did not hear my name called either. Bathrooms were gross which makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.
Service was cold, rude, lack of eye contact. There was one young man that was bussing tables and asked how we were doing and was super sweet.
I have a higher expectations of service for this location because they are within walking distance of the Kroger Southwest Divisional Office. Not to mention the high volume stores and being across the street from the mall and in the middle of three major hospital locations. There is a lot of competition (Zalat is just down the street) for food in general and there are more than five restaurants that I can think of right off the top of my head. Pei Wei is actually right next door.
One wish I have for all MODs is to put the blue cheese in a covered container. Just being near it can cause me to...
