Update August 31: my side dish was comprised of the big baked potato. I could not believe how wonderful this potato was. The flavor was incredible and the butter I added, made it even better. I finished the potato, but did not finish my ribs it was that good. I’ve had the perfect cherry, the perfect strawberry and the perfect pineapple. Now I’ve had the perfect baked potato. Honestly, it is worth the trip for the potato alone.
Update: Today’s choice was a brisket plate, the moist marbled type. It was moist and loaded with fat! Not just the marbling but around the perimeter. It tasted like fat and had a fatty texture. I won’t order “brisket-fat” again.
The man who cut the meat must have had a bad day. He scowled at us! He cut some slices of my brisket and put it on a plate. Then before handing it to me he removed one piece of meat. What’s that all about?
The last time I reviewed this restaurant I mentioned two negative comments. I also wrote to their home office with the same comments. They have made changes for the better and it clearly shows.
Last nights visit for ribs was amazing. I had a small problem with the plate of food and told the manager. He immediately replaced it with the finest plate of barbecue I have ever had. Above all, the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They went beyond my expectations. They served up some of the best ribs I have ever had. Highly recommended.
The food at Spring Creek is phenomenal. That’s about the best word to describe it. It can rival the most famous barbecue pit in the state of Texas and win a contest. But when you add the loyalty program onto the equation, I find that I’m saving between 30 and 35% of my overall barbecue spend. How can you beat 35% savings and exceptional barbecue at...
Read moreSpring Creek Barbeque is a great place to fill up your plate, relax in a casual atmosphere, and enjoy some good ol' Texas country music. This restaurant can fit and feed the whole family with it's picnic style tables and food that tastes just like good home cookin'!
After you walk on in, get in line and grab a tray as you decide on your delicious BBQ dinner. I tried the Black Pepper Sausage and Ribs with a side of their secret barbeque sauce - the perfect blend of sweetness and spice! The friendly staff freshly cuts the meats of your choice, pours on the sauce (or served the side) and a hot fresh roll. Next, you are free to pile up your plate - it's self serve from here - with sides like Mac N Cheese, Baked Beans, and Cole Slaw. Mmmm! When you arrive at the cashier, select a drink like root beer served in an icy cold mug - just exactly what I like to wash my meal down with!
Even after you sit down at a table and dive into dinner, they still bring by baskets of rolls - hot, sweet and oh-so-fresh! Have room for dessert? They even serve crave-worthy cobbler, topped with ice cream or select a slice of pie if you please.
Come hungry and ready to enjoy a good filling meal that tastes just like home. I don't know about you, but I'll be stopping into this Texas-style barbeque...
Read moreWe eat at this Spring Creek location often and haven't had any issues until our last visit. We had received a coupon for BOGO meals via email approximately 2 weeks ago and went in on a Friday at lunch to use it. We get to the check-out and are told that we cannot use our coupon because we came at lunch - We said that we would pay the dinner price, no problem. It does not state anywhere on the coupon that the coupon cannot be used during certain times of the day. We asked for a manager who was not helpful at all and said that we could not use our coupon and that we didn't have to stay (hateful). We left without eating. If coupons cannot be used at certain times it needs to be stated on the coupon itself. Bad marketing/ business practice and very disappointing! To add insult to injury, I contacted Spring Creek customer service by phone that very day after our experience and left a message for someone to call and we still have not heard from them (nearly 2 weeks later). After reading some responses to reviews here I have also submitted a request to be contacted by phone online.
**UPDATE: 4 weeks later and still no contact from Spring Creek - even after submitting the form on their "springcreekbbqcares" site twice. It's obvious they...
