Your employee Mary accused me of stealing and I politely let her check my bags. She walked off and said “it’s fine”. She then turned around and said “you know what I need to check again” then pushed me out of the way of the pin pad while I was trying to pay for my groceries and started to debag all my groceries AGAIN! TWICE! there is absolutely no reason to push or even touch customers. Let alone continue false accusations against them while they’re actively trying to pay and after they willingly let you check their bags the first time. I never attempted to stop her from checking my bags because I had nothing to hide yet she treated me with disrespect and did not even apologize or bother to look at me after pushing me. I really don’t like being touched by strangers especially in a negative pushing manner. She said she “needed” to check my bags the first time, ok fine whatever. Not sure why but I could care less about that. But the second time she did not even give me a chance to finish paying before she shoved me. I was confused as to what was happening and honestly did not even feel comfortable to say anything or stop her. I hope she learns that it’s inappropriate to come up from behind the customers and physically touch them. I hope she from now on treats customers like people, and grasps the concept of personal space. There is a professional way to handle these kinds of situations Mary, and putting your hands on someone is FARRRR from it....
Read moreWhat a wonderful store! Exciting to be there the week of the grand opening! Store and all shelves were well stocked and immaculately organized. They also had a holiday section fully decked out for Halloween!
What I love:
:: Huge aisles and lots of space between sections. This makes social distancing easy :)
:: Brand new paved parking lot with tons of parking and cart returns that have a catch so the carts don’t get loose
:: High quality plastic bags at checkout. Don’t need to worry about double bagging for heavy items
:: Incredible prices!! It felt like it was 2010 again! Which is so welcome with inflation right now
:: Amazing produce section, bakery, bulk section, and deli. They even have fresh sushi!
:: Something for everyone! Tons of plant based, dairy free, and alternative/allergy friendly foods
Things worth noting:
:: Be prepared for the long walk into the store once you enter the building. You’ll walk down a huge wide hallway before entering the actual store.
:: Winco doesn’t accept ANY credit cards. Have cash or debit ready. They do have an ATM
:: You will bag your own groceries at checkout but can bring your own bags
Staff was incredibly friendly and seemed happy to be working here! Here’s to this WINCO location keeping up the amazing work! Will be coming back on...
Read moreWhat can I say, WinCo is amazing for the fact that it is open 24 hours a day. I would stop here whenever I needed to after work. Because I work nights this very convenient place was the top of my stopping list I was able to find everything I needed and never running into people, only personnel stocking the shelves. And if you're a daytime shopper, it's connected to the mall! You can get all your shopping done at one stop. My only gripe though is that almost every single cart has at least 1 flat spotted wheel on it (usually back right I think) I am a cart puller, not a cart pusher and I absolutely hate using a cart that just bounces up and down every time you take a step or pulls to one side. This is done because of the locking system to prevent theft of carts. People trying to take the carts out of parking lots either with food to go and wait at the bus stops or people trying to steal carts of food. It doesn't stop them though as I've seen people just running as fast as they can so when they hit the boundary the wheels just lock for a split second then they can keep going with the momentum they got. I'll go through at least 10-15 carts before I find one that won't...
