Terrible products and experience. This place is a scam. Worth spending more at REI. Purchased a sleeping bag here graded for 32 degree weather. It left me cold in 48 degrees. I followed up purchasing an inflatable sleeping mat for it thinking that was the issue. I was still almost just as cold. I tried to return it with receipt and manager denied my return saying it was used. I asked just for store credit and was refused. Short male (probably napoleon complex) manager working at 6:30 on July 29 2024 gave me attitude to add insult to injury. I asked him if he thought it was good business practice to permanently lose a frequent customer over a $25 dollar bag and he just gave me more flippant attitude. The products here are priced low because they are cheap garbage. And when they fail to work as advertised these people won’t accept returns. Employees here are generally terrible except for the taller male manager (he’s average height at most but much taller than the very short one described above) who was consistently solid the many times I shopped here. I may try to return again with him. But I won’t be shopping here anymore so long as the short manager retains his position. I advise against buying here. And don’t buy their NorEast bags whatever you do.
EDIT: I called back to find out who the manager was and the associate who answered wouldn’t give me his name! So I asked to speak with the manager working and he transferred me and the manager answered as Timothy. So garbage associate who answered and the garbage manager’s name is...

Because when you purchase it asks if you want your receipt through an email or paper receipt He seemed agitated that I told him his job and that I been shopping with Sierra since they opened this location He made me buy my purchase separately because he said that the computer was Going to take forever and that he highly doubted that he would be able to find my receipt that way.. I got agitated and went through my emails to find the receipt because he would give me problems about locating one of the items I was returning. I genuinely will not shop here if he’s working. I’ll take my chances. Dude it was very rude and I really don’t appreciate the way that he treats people. His little snacks and remarks come off as rude and he should definitely be retrained....
Read moreWe live in Frisco, not far away and come here fairly often to look for name brands at a great price. It’s a challenge for the people that work there to keep it organized and so you’ve got the wrong sizes in the wrong place. But, that’s not a big deal. But what pissed me off today was the help staff was absolutely unhelpful. They respond in grunts and pointing and apparently have not had any training. And as we were checking out after making $120 purchase, I asked the cashier woman to remind me if they used a customer loyalty kind of card. There was some confusion and she thought I meant a credit card from the store. When she clarified, she rolled her eyes and made a disgusted look, as if to say what a stupid question. I ignored it and as my wife and I walked out after the purchase even my wife said what a nasty cashier. Just makes me wonder what criteria they use when they interview and hire...
