WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced in my entire life...and I have NEVER written a review about any place before...this definitely needed a review. DO NOT go to this place to tan. I went into this salon one day and decided to purchase a monthly package after going over ALL the details of ALL the prices and package deals. I was told it would be 18.88 a month ( just like SUNDAYS) and that if I wanted to upgrade to a higher bed, it would be a $5 fee each time. So that day I bought a lotion, monthly package, and I offered them an EFT to draft every month. I went tanning and left that day thinking this place seems cool and looks great. HUGE MISCONCEPTION* I go in for a second time 4 days later, and a different girl is working that day. She asked my name, I gave it to her, and she said there was a note on file to tell me that my second draft would come out on 02/05 instead of 2/12 (2/12 is what I signed up for- so I found it odd that the first time they gave me the wrong date but no biggie)..then she sent me into the tanning bed. As I am undressing to get in, she knocks on the door and said she needed to talk to me. I come out half dressed, and she tells me I need to pay another $5. I told her she must be mistaken because I signed up for the package. Then she said yes, there is a $5 fee each time you tan, no matter what. I told her that was never mentioned to me before and I asked specifically. Then she says that I was charged a fee the first time too!! When I looked at my receipt, it was not itemized so she showed it to me on the computer and sure enough there was a charge for $5.50 (not $5-another red flag to me). I told her since I did not know I was charged the first time, that it would be fair to waive the fee today, and I will just pay the fee going forward ... she said she could not let me tan without paying the fee. (OMG seriously??? $5??) She then said I can talk to the owner (who was in a tanning bed at the time), and I said okay I will wait to talk to her. So this lady walks out and says she is the owner...as I'm explaining what the issue was ....she interrupts me and yells "STOP" (not to mention she is sitting behind the desk at this point with sunglasses on the whole time and it's 7 o'clock at night- is she wasted or something?) She proceeds to deflect the fact that I was misled and kept trying to up sell me on a more expensive package!! This owner was very unprofessional!!! She made a big scene and said "Fine we can just cancel everything!" ..grabbed my receipt and put it in the paper shredder. I asked her if she was willing to lose a customer over $5...she then replies that there is nothing she can do but upgrade my package so there are no fees....(ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??) She was still trying to get more money after I had just spent $60 in her store a few days before?? She then told me that they actually waived a $20 sign up fee for me when I originally came in...well guess what?? I DID NOT KNOW about that waived fee either!! So far, I have a fee charged that I was NOT told about, a waived fee I was NOT told about, an incorrect draft date was issued to me, and I was already halfway undressed before they realized I owed another FEE..... GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!! Obviously the common denominator here is a list of THEIR mistakes...NOT MINE. I told her the right thing to do would be to at least admit that you guys screwed up and just waive the fee today - (IT'S THE PRINCIPLE and not about $5 to me) She refused and offered no compromise whatsoever. I have worked in Customer service for over 20 years and I was APPALLED by her behavior. Even the other girl that worked there was taken back by the scene being made. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESSGO TO SUNDAYS...they are CHEAPER and...

Smithfield Sunday Spa is lovely! The staff are very respectful and polite and they have shown nothing but love from the time I walked through the door. They offer a real nice first week package and that allows you to experience almost everything they have to offer. They keep everything clean and well stocked and are very concerned that when their clients tan they will not burn. I brought a friend with me that has red hair and very fair skin and they accommodated her perfectly and she has no burns at all and loved her experience. We will be continued...

Idk who Staci Evans is or what exactly transpired but i can tell you this staff is extremely professional and friendly..ive actually been a customer for years, not just one day and demanding free services. As for sunglasses, have you ever considered there are other personal, even medical, reasons for wearing them, other than drinking, or are you just assuming from personal experience?? Please dont venture into our upscale, family run town if you arent also prepared to be fair...im sure there are dalons in Suffolk that would be honored by...
