I went into my appointment with high expectations, especially after reading reviews. I've had balayge done twice in the past (prior stylist moved where I'd gone in the past) and wanted to refresh for an upcoming wedding and just to get it fixed up in general.
I have med dark brown hair and came in with pictures requesting a light brown/mocha balayage. I have a lot of hair so the appointment took a long time and the stylist didn't have time to fully dry it. Due to poor lighting and my hair not being fully dried, then put in a braid behind my head I didn't get a chance to see the end result.
Flash forward to the next two days I finally saw the work done and was essentially given bright blonde highlights. The color job was done up to the roots with a bright blonde streak right in the center of my forehead glaring at me when I looked into the mirror. I don't normally speak up, so my friends advised I call the salon and go back. After some convincing, I did.
I was able to get back in no problem to get it retoned. It was once again not fully dried due to a tight schedule so wasn't able to fully see it. The color is thankfully now a more brown tone, but certainly not what I wanted. Even retoned I'm stuck with a non balayage coloring.
The worst part of the experience was being charged an ADDITIONAL $35 on top of the $250+tip I'd already paid to have it done the first time. Biggest waste of over $300 and still not happy with the end result. Very...

She was extremely shakey the whole time and kept dropping things all over the salon making comments that her boss wouldnt like if she was doing this. Went to check out and was going to give a $30 tip only for her to say instead of the $125 she quoted its $350 she then got mad saying everything that the website included was an extra charge. She started bringing her personal life into it saying shes a sngle woman and needs the money. The bangs I got were extremely uneven and more than what I asked for was cut off my hair. I left with a completely different haircut than I expected. During the haircut Heidi poked my eyes with her scissors while she cut my bangs which Iāve never experienced before even from newbie stylists. Heidi also burned my scalp as she used the hair dryer and round brush.This was definitely the most awful experience Iāve ever had at a salon. While waiting for my appointment I overheard Heidi and another stylist in the front gossiping about client who had just left the salon. During my haircut she insulted another stylist who was working in the back which just added to the uncomfortableness and unprofessional impression. Please save your money and avoid services from Heidi. I usually love getting haircuts and supporting independent stylists but I would never recommend these services.
