I’m not from the area and I usually get my nails done in cape cod, although they were really due to be done. I made an appointment for 3:45, it was my first time going here. They didn’t seem to be super busy, but they were in fact working with other customers. I sat patiently waiting for someone to become available for about 20 minutes. Once I had been seated, the woman put the foils on my nails to remove the sns I had had done previously. 30 minutes later and I still have the foil on my nails meanwhile employees are busy taking on walk-ins. By this point I’ve been waiting patiently over an hour with the foil still on my nails waiting for someone to work on my nails. One woman sits down and begins to take off my sns. She was pleasant to work with. Once the sns was completely removed, the woman stands up and walks away for the approximate 7th time. She’s taking on every customer that walks through the door while I still wait patiently for someone to start my nails. After the 10 th time and 20 minutes later, she moves me to another table to a different woman. I mentioned to both woman that I need a tip put on my right hand thumb nail. My nails are real and that particular one had broke. I had a tip on that nail to begin with but they didn’t respond to the fact that I was asking for a replacement. By the time I was done it was already past 6 and I was tired and ready to go home. It wasn’t until I got home and really looked at the work done that I was very disappointed. The shape was perfect, the employees were pleasant. But they still never put the tip on. They only did two half fast layers of the sns, it looks sloppy and my cuticles were a complete mess. They didn’t care that I had an appointment and they didn’t acknowledge the fact that I asked them four times for a tip. My nails are so fragile from the lack of layers on my nails and to top it off, they finished my sns with a gel clear coat and uv light. I regret wasting my money. And I’m truly...
Read moreI understand that cultural differences are sometimes evident, but what happen recently really bothers me. I had a male nail tech doing a pedicure, and I was wearing a skort- meaning that there are shorts underneath. I had previously worked with this young man, who has always been pleasant. When he sat down, he folded one towel where my feet go, but draped the other towel over my knees. I thought he would remove the towel to incorporate it into my pedicure. I then realized that he was actually covering my body up! I looked at him and pushed the towel off of my knees. He did not respond in any way. I noticed that the young girl sitting in the chair beside me had shorts on that were basically at the very top of her legs. She was also being treated by a male tech, who did not attempt to cover her legs. I am so creeped out by the action of my tech, who gave no explanation. I’m definitely older than the young girl beside me. Does this man think he can arbitrarily cover a woman up? In the years I have been coming here, I have seen a wide variety of customer (and staff) clothing, some quite revealing, but never saw anyone being censored. I will not be returning to a business that attempts to regulate a woman based on opinion or cultural...
Read moreThis place is very unsanitary, from my observation. I received a pedi/mani w gel and for the pedicure, there was no plastic wrap that was placed on the bowl. I didn’t notice anyone clean the bowl with any cleaning products when I left my seat. There was a woman getting her nails done where I was told to sit for my manicure after her and all that was done to clean the area was dust off the residue that was left from her nails. The man that did my nails was rough and very sloppy with his work. He kept filing my skin and I pointed it out and he said my nails are short. He didn’t even attempt to pull my skin from my tuft down and when he filed my nail bed, he wasn’t even looking at my hand. He got aggravated and was visible with his body language and told him that I wasn’t going to go back and forth with the conversation. There are so many people that don’t speak up when they are not pleased with the work because this is the reaction that is given. I will not be...
