Ashley Loven Hair Stylist at Salon Vermont — Local services in South Burlington

I went to see Ashley yesterday for a consultation that turned into a cut. I've had the same long, thick, curly haircut for over a decade. It was always way too much to manage so it spent its whole life in a bun, basically. I was strongly considering cutting the majority of my hair off but had no idea what would work as I'd never done it before. Ashley listened wonderfully, pulled up many photos, and was great about helping me find exactly what I wanted during a thorough consultation. She was able to give me the option to roll into the cut right then, which was great. My hair is now the shortest it's ever been and I love how it came out! Ashley was warm and welcoming, and also had a lot of wonderful curly hair advice to pass on during the course of my visit. I also loved the Salon Vermont space- it's very calming and well decorated. I suspect I'll be keeping this cut for awhile and will definitely be going back to see Ashley for future upkeep- I highly recommend her!

We love Ashley! She does both my hair and my daughter's. I always love how she cuts and colors my hair, but more important to me is that my daughter has sensory issues, and at her first appointment, Ashley and the team at Salon Vermont went out of their way to accommodate her and make her feel comfortable. She was extremely nervous at first, but Ashley let my daughter take the lead and at the end of her appointment, she was all smiles. I don't live in the area anymore but we had been in South Burlington for the weekend. I was sick of my hair and everywhere else was booked or had a lower star rating. After going to Ashley I see why she has such an awesome rating. She is super sweet and easy to converse with. The haircut she did after the mohawk I had is amazing. Normally I regret cutting my hair so short but Ashley made it look amazing and it's really easy to manage.
