Do not buy a phone here! I went in in June saying I wanted a Samsung s21 and the rep talked me into the Motorola edge+. The rep misrepresented this phones comparison to the s21 and I've been very unhappy with the edge+. I called Verizon customer service after realizing that I can't "just deal" with a phone that regularly gets too hot to touch. A phone rep told me that Verizon would waive the normal return window, I just had to go back to "Cellular Sales" to make the change for inventory purposes. I called this store and my call was redirected to the Portland location. That agent confirmed that he saw the note, but only South Portland had this phone in stock. I drove an hour to South Portland only to be told "we can't do that" and have a document I signed about their return policy aggressively presented to me. They called customer care while I was in the store and got a different story. I called customer care again on the way home and spoke to a supervisor who said that an agent store CAN do this at their discretion. The alleged manager of this store had no sympathy for the fact that his employee misrepresented a phone to a customer. Customer care said they could have done something if I had purchased through a corporate store, but they can't do anything with agent store inventory. I was at a baseball double header with my young son and smashed our only phone in the trunk of my car.... I dread going to phone stores because in my past experiences elsewhere there has always been a long wait and high pressure to buy the next greatest thing. Simon actually listened to what I needed - listened to what my 9 year old needed - and set us up based on our needs. Not only was he patient with us - he also went the extra mile and fixed our billing issues. We ended up buying 3 phones that day (when I never intended to buy any!) - not because of high pressure selling - but because Simon met our family needs by reducing our cell service cost by getting us on the right plan, found a non-Smart phone for my elderly father, a safe phone for my young son and a replacement for my own. In addition to doing all of this for us Simon was answering questions for other employees in the store. He knows his product, he knows the pricing parameters he has to work with.
