Well I am thrilled to share that Johnny Rockets old fashion hamburger restaurant now offers an amazing vegan option- Impossible burgers w/Daiya cheese- and it's by far the best impossible Burger I've ever had even without the cheese, which they're out of. You can also get a vegan milkshake! Vanilla, chocolate or strawberry! Well, they were out of the vegan ice cream. It has been selling quickly, so I didn't get that either. I'm thrilled about the added vegan options. On the negative side, besides having very slow service and many products unavailable, [not just at this restaurant, at many places] my biggest frustration is staff because they have no clue what is on the menu, of what they have or don't have, the ingredients or anything.

You can find pizza 🍕 next to 🗾 Japanese food across from hamburgers 🍔 and shakes. We bought cheese 🍕 pizzas from Amato's and everyone liked them. Staff were cleaning the 🪑 chairs and tables, sweeping 🧹 the floors and changing the trashcans. Biggest issue with this food court is the lack of chairs! The tables are spaced far apart from each other, but, why so few chairs?? We had to stand while we ate. We all wanted to rest our legs. It looks like a case of social avoidance, err, distancing going to far!

The first thing I will say is that the food is excellent, just like any mall typically. The food service is subpar, especially at the fry place. The owner just stands around and watches everyone work And if it's not the owner, then it's part of the higher management, it's very uncomfortable to watch everyone work as they just stand there. It also holds up productivity. More orders could get done if people cooperated. I had to ask for napkins, they don't give any utensils if you don't ask.

The Maine mall food court is the biggest (to my 30 years of Maine knowledge) food court in Maine. It has almost every ethnic food group to choose from, ample seating and parking, handicap accessible, public restrooms.

The food here is made fresh, if you come early you will see the cooks and staff preparing fresh food.

On a busy day the food court and parking lot can be a challenge to navigate, so if you're looking for food options in the in the Portland area on a busy day, you might want to try somewhere else. Portland area, per capita, has more restaurants to choose from than any other city.

I would give this a 5 star, but the food court opens around lunch and closes just after dinner, so the hours could be more accommodating for those wanting to get to the mall early, and have breakfast while they wait (even tho the mall won't open till 9-10 am typically).

Also the food, is much more expensive than normal, although not quite as expensive as a highway rest stop food court.

I will...

Okay, so Google has got this all wrong. The food court in the mall, it's filled up with a bunch of restaurants. It's not a restaurant itself so disregard all of the food ratings up there. There is individual restaurants, for example. Uh, there's a panda Chinese restaurant. There's Johnny Rockets, my favorite There's a mottos, there's more that I'm not even thinking of at the moment. It's very loud in there, but I honestly enjoy it. I like the city vibes. The food is good. Add the Johnny Rockets anyway, and I really enjoy myself every time I go matter of fact. I also do YouTube videos, so I make mall ASMR. Videos in...
