Victory Outreach is a life changing place! If you truly desire change in your life, desire to be someone better, to be set free from bondage, depression, anxiety, addiction, anything keeping you from being the best version of you, you’re going to find your place here! It’s not about the building in itself though it’s beautiful, but it’s the conviction spoken over the pulpit, the recognition of sin that’s called out so those chains can be broken off your life, and most of all it’s the relationship you’re taught to build with the Lord. It’s a house of prayer, discipleship, and truly becomes the family you never knew you needed. The atmosphere and the presence of God is in this place and you can feel the warmth the second you walk through the doors, honestly even in the parking lot, you can see the joy of the Lord in his people! They have a men’s and women’s home for ones struggling with many things and I think it’s such a beautiful thing to watch people come in one way and be transformed by the grace of God and get to reach their full potential in life and be all that Gods created them to be! I’ve seen many lives changed from the homes, families restored, children reunited with their mothers and fathers, it’s a beautiful sight! The men’s and women’s home is a blessing to those struggling, but just as with anything in life; to be successful you must work for the things you want, you have to truly desire something more, you have to be willing to be discipled, you have to be willing to have people tell you things that sometimes you may not want to hear, you’ll have to stop wanting to make excuses as to why your life has been stuck in one place for so long and finally be willing to surrender it all to God no matter what that may be & that’s where you’re going to start to see your life be renewed and...
Read moreI used to be a meth addict, lost, and bound out on the streets of Salt Lake City, homeless and hopeless. I was referred to and welcomed into their Women's Home in 2019. I had a personal and powerful encounter with Jesus! He saved and healed my heart and mind, and I've been adopted into the Kingdom of GOD. HE restored my marriage and kids back to me, I should still be out there going out of my mind but The Lord has used the ministry to give back what I gave up and what the devil stole from me, as well as teach me to be who GOD has purposed me to be, and gave me a place to grow and mature in my relationship with HIM. I graduated the Women's Home and I'm still here loving and serving God along my Pastors and the church family who love and serve the people of Salt Lake City with a message of hope and plan of Jesus Christ. It's a house of prayer, worship, and miracles. Where Gods presence is evident and experienced.
You're invited, yes you! If you come, come with an open heart and mind, come with an expectancy to hear and feel God, and don't leave without connecting to someone, because if you've come, it's because God has brought you, and what we want for you and your family is to have every blessing God has for you and yours....
Read moreI'm not sure about this organization. They convinced some good people to uproot from California to Ogden to help build the church in Ogden. The church told them they would provide financial support them and help them build the church. Then once they arrived here, the church abandoned them and did not provide them the promised financial support. I am the property manager for these folks and for 6 months I have helped them as they've fallen further and further behind on rent. My heart goes out to these good people as they left their good lives in California to devote their lives to Christ and helping people in need, but then not to get the support from the church. Both husband and wife are working multiple jobs beneath their capabilities in order to devote their lives -- literally 80+ hours a week -- to the church. After all they've given to the church and the successes they've had in Ogden area, it's heartbreaking to see them struggle and not have the church...
